Days Gone Free DLC Release Date

Bend Studio will add a new "Survival" difficulty mode for Days Gone free post-launch content in June 2019.

Upcoming action-adventure survival horror game Days Gone from developer SIE Bend Studio and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is only a few days away from releasing worldwide on April 26, 2019 for PlayStation 4.

As players are preparing to venture into a post-apocalyptic ride with outlaw protagonist Deacon St. John, the development team has already announced free post-launch DLC that will be arriving in June for this PS4-exclusive title.

You can test out your luck in three available difficulty settings Easy, Normal or Hard mode right from the start. Whichever you end up choosing, this open-world game will challenge your survival skills on a playthrough that is over 30 hours long.

Starting from June, players will be given a new difficulty mode to sharpen their gameplay techniques for effective survival and bunch of new challenges thrown at them for free each week as long as they have an active internet connection.

When experiencing the newly added "Survival" difficulty mode, players have to play under more perilous circumstances with no fast travel or Survival Vision. Indicators and maps will be removed to amp up an even tensed in-game atmosphere.

Many gameplay features of Days Gone will be part of these challenges including a new Bike, Combat and "Freakers" horde. Survival Difficulty and challenges would eventually rewards players with bike skins, items and new trophies.
