Though video game adaption in visual media often doesn't do well, Netflix saw great success with two seasons of Castlevania anime and now they are all set to go ahead with another show based on an award-winning video game.

The show will likely to explore in-game world of Inkwell Isles featuring Cuphead and Mugman as lead characters with few familiar faces possibly showing up, through animation style inspired from classic Fleischer cartoons of 1930s.
