Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Official Trailer

In celebration of upcoming Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary, an enhanced version of 2013 platform game Super Mario 3D World was announced for Nintendo Switch back in September 2020 during a livestream of Nintendo Direct.

Only a month away from release, Nintendo releases a new trailer highlighting various features of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, offering old-school fans an expanded look at Mario's newest adventure into Mushroom Kingdom.

Super Mario 3D World originally debuted for Wii U consoles and Bowser's Fury is its latest add-on campaign. Aside from Mario and friends jumping around like felines in catsuits, there lies a larger threat of Bowser, King of the Koopas.

After being transformed into a gargantuan Fury Bowser by an inky goo, he shows up in a raging mode as a mysterious bell rings out. An epic battle takes place in a huge free-roaming area near Cat Shines between him and Giga Cat Mario.

Shortly after release, fans are going crazy over "God-Slayer Bowser" and "Super Saiyan Mario" in latest trailer. Nintendo may have added some lore for Bowser's recent transformation, which is yet to be revealed sometime in near future.

During usual playthrough, Mario would often team-up Bowser Jr. wearing his Cat Mario suit or Tanooki Mario suit. Together they explore these colorful landscapes and Koopa Jr. now wields a paintbrush, seen before in Mario Sunshine.

Bowser's Fury to reportedly receive online multiplayer support but there won't be any in-game chat mechanics. Instead, up to three players with a copy of the game will connect through the globe using Nintendo Switch Online accounts.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is priced only $59.99 for Nintendo Switch and scheduled to arrive on February 12, 2021. Nintendo to release brand-new Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo figures for additional in-game enhancements.
