Excitement is high among players as upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game MultiVersus by developer Player First Games and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is about to release Early Access version on all platforms.
Multiple leaks of MultiVersus characters roster hints that many iconic fan-favorites will join very soon in coming months. Meanwhile, WB Interactive may have accidentally teased Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty ahead of Season 1 launch.
Given a massive catalog of popular characters Warner Bros. have under their belt, introducing a character like Rick Sanchez won't be a surprise and considering the enormous popularity of Rick and Morty animated sitcom, fans would love it.
A player recently notices mad scientist Rick briefly showed up in-game at player select screen of platform fighter MultiVersus. Though he doesn't show off any notable gameplay abilities, latest leak actually matches with a number of rumors.
Twitter user Jdog_4789 recently shared a leaked glance at Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty in MultiVersus.

Many players are expecting Rick's grandson Morty could also join MultiVersus roster shortly but recent leak doesn't feature him at all. However, it is possible for dev team to introduce them as separate playable characters of their own right.
Rick Sanchez will seemingly be associated with a new stage based on Cromulon Dimension from "Get Schwifty" episode. Although existing cast of characters in MultiVersus is very impressive, it is quite plausible for WB to add Rick and Morty.
With an expansive catalog of popular characters Warner Bros. have under their belt, there are a lot of characters to draft for MultiVersus roster including stars from Breaking Bad, Supernatural, The Sopranos, True Detective and other shows.
MultiVersus Open Beta release date has already been announced earlier with a gameplay trailer and it is scheduled for later this month. Players who previously took part in Beta Test programs can join early and start brawling for dominance.
