Blizzard Entertainment officially confirms a set release date for Diablo IV at The Game Awards 2022, coming in June 2023.

Diablo IV Release Date

First announced at BlizzCon 2019, upcoming hack-and-slash action role-playing game Diablo IV by developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment never revealed a release date and delayed a few times unofficially due to lots of internal issues.

Earlier last month, a report claimed that Diablo 4 will be arriving early next year and may show up at The Game Awards 2022 event. Today, Blizzard revealed a new cinematic trailer and finally announces a release date set for June 6, 2023.

Latest trailer sees antagonist Lilith leading an army of demons against archangel Inarius and his army in a brutal conflict. Players will begin their journey at Sanctuary as they move to a nearby village and slay dreaded enemies on their way.

There are five character classes to select from including Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue and Sorceress. Features like procedurally generated dungeons and loot-based gameplay makes a long-anticipated return to have replayability.


Blizzard caters to Diablo series fans by bringing the ominous tone of original game, progression from Diablo II and combat of Diablo III. Players will be able to explore over 140 dungeons, grab legendary loots and take on in other activities.

Diablo IV will be releasing across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S next year. Pre-order is available now for Standard, Digital and Ultimate Edition for all platforms, offering Open Beta Early Access for all edition.
