When Diablo III came out in 2012, it initially suffered from connection issue at launch but ended up selling over 30 million copies. Though originally debuted for PC platform, D3 eventually saw console release and even a Nintendo Switch port.

Blizzard is promising their fan-base every reason to get excited for Diablo IV but there is no official launch date yet, nor even a release year. Given they have been working on the project for some time; we probably won't have to wait too long.
