Take on a legion of vampires and unravel a dark mystery, 2023 first-person shooter Redfall from developer Arkane Austin and publisher Bethesda Softworks is out now on cloud, Windows PC as well as Xbox Series X/S with Xbox Game Pass.
After the island town of Redfall was taken over by an army of undead bloodsuckers, they cut off all connection to outside world. They also blocked out sun somehow and are rampaging around town, threatening to bleed out all its citizens.
Four unlikely survivors; Devinder Crousley, Jacob Boyer, Layla Ellison and Remi de la Rosa forms a team to fight these deadly monsters. These unconventional heroes are either adept in combat or wield a number of unique psychic abilities.
Aspiring inventor Devinder brings cutting-edge tech to hunt down supernatural creatures, Jacob is ex-military sharpshooter gone rogue, Layla uses her telekinetic powers to move objects, while a robot cohort assists combat engineer Remi.

Vampires of Redfall are predatory monsters created by science but still play into some aspect of fantasy. They feed on vulnerable folks to become more powerful, transforms into hulking fiends and move up in hierarchy than a usual lackey.
You can slay alone or squad up with up to four player co-op, equipped with different loadout to combine your strengths against vampires. Match your playstyle to get creative in taking down a legion of enemies and their lunatic followers.

Redfall brings back Arkane Studio's signature gameplay to a story-driven action shooter, set into a rich world. Although compared to Left 4 Dead, game director Harvey Smith thinks it is more of a spin to huge open-world settings of Far Cry.
