Apex Legends Season 2 Launch Trailer

Respawn releases official launch trailer for free-to-play battle royale shooter title Apex Legends Season 2.

Although mech Titans are not coming anytime soon to Titanfall series spin-off and free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends, they sure will be featuring some new surprises for players in upcoming Season 2 when it launches on July 2.

Today, developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts released a new trailer video for upcoming season that is titled "Battle Charge", which probably teases at a new Legend and environmental hazards into the arena.

The trailer opens up with Bangalore, Caustic, Gibraltar, Mirage, Octane and Wattson chasing each other on King's Canyon map. From a nearby high ground, a character named Crypto gets busy on a laptop in isolation and goes through strings of code.

Soon an EMP explosion causes the Repulsor tower to fall over and it makes Wattson really worried. Containment field around them goes down letting winged dinosaur-like creatures called Flyers and Leviathans to stomp all over the map.

Up until now, those fields were a fence that was holding such prehistoric beasts off the island and worked as a defense against them. Whether or not it going down is up to Crypto still remains to be seen in forthcoming future.

Apparently, none of those beasts are after any Legends directly but that doesn't mean your arena is safe from being wrecked and developers may have come up with this idea just to make change to King's Canyon map for next season.

Respawn reveals an extended version of E3 2019 gameplay demo video for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Though first gameplay footage for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been revealed earlier at E3 2019 event, developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts actually showed an extended cut to press behind closed doors.

Now that E3 press conference is finally wrapped up, Respawn decides to showcase that lengthy segment of Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay walkthrough to public with a 26-minute long video to offer a more in-depth look at challenges and combat system.

Instead of starting his journey by meeting with rebel extremist Saw Gerrera (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), we see protagonist Cal Kestis emerging from a swamp-like location of Kashyyyk after his buddy droid BD-1 sweeps their surrounding for trouble.

He manages to climb his way up on top of an AT-AT walker and after its Stormtrooper guard is blown out, he gets into the combat vehicle. Inside he peeps on a few guards that he dispatched shortly using The Force and his lightsaber.

He sneaks into main cockpit and took control after knocking the pilots unconscious and then we see some vehicle combat mechanics in action. Cal then blasts off another AT-AT by surprise and rain on heavy fire on nearby Imperial establishment.

He eventually met Saw Gerrera after his vehicle crashes and a cut-scene starts where they exchange about why they are on Kashyyyk. Cal came looking for Wookiee general Tarfful and Saw is here to disrupt supply runs of The Empire.

Soon, his mentor Cere Junda and companion Greez Dritus joins them but Saw is skeptical about his claim of being a Jedi. However, they proceed on how to rescue a group of slave Wookiees from that Imperial refinery and campaign is resumed.

Looking for a power source, he came across a giant spider-like creature and a couple of Flame Beetles that was been dealt with. It was from here when we step into E3 2019 demo footage and rest of it just continues as shown earlier.

Of course any fans can't help but notice some close similarities gameplay drawn from games like Shadow of the Colossus and Uncharted at times but all are hoping that it somehow works and not become another generic title for cheap cash grab.

Apex Legends Comes to Mobile

Electronic Arts wants to bring free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends to Chinese market and mobile devices.

In last few years, Battle Royale genre of games were already dominated by Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, February 2019 saw the arrival of Apex Legends that instantly become everyone's new favorite shooter title.

After conquering major gaming platforms like PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts now wants to bring this free-to-play shooter title for players on mobile devices.

During their recent quarterly earnings call, EA has revealed that since the game has been a very successful project so far, they intend to and currently negotiating terms to bring Apex Legends to China and on mobile in future.

Although there is not much detail to look at, it appears that the game would likely to debut on Android and iOS devices. In order to tap into a huge audience in world of mobile gaming, they wish to explore the Chinese markets at the same time.

RELATED: Apex Legends Rumored to Include Titans

Given how Battle Royale and free-to-play games becomes popular in past over a very short time, it was about time that Electronic Arts take steps toward mobile gaming territory just like Epic Games did with Fortnite Battle Royale.

Mobile gaming and Chinese market has been a lucrative aspect for video game developers and publishers these days. So, it is safe to say that Titanfall series spin-off is currently heading towards a direction for a better future up ahead.

The game is currently suffering from a huge decrease in player count due to developers taking a strict position against cheating and banned nearly a million players and not adding much content through Season 1 Battle Pass.

Respawn has been quiet for some time regarding updates for Apex Legends but publisher EA plans on to tackle this problem by adding more engaging content in Season 2, which will be revealed at EA Play event in June.

Respawn will reveal gameplay video of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at EA Play and E3 2019 on next month.

After making its most anticipating reveal back at Star Wars Celebration 2019, developer Respawn Entertainment announced upcoming single-player Star Wars action-adventure game Jedi: Fallen Order will be out on November 15, 2019.

Although fan-response towards Fallen Order was quite positive in general, no gameplay footage has been shown in the reveal trailer and CEO Vince Zampella recently announced to showcase more of the game at EA Play and E3 2019.

Despite publisher Electronic Arts telling everyone that they would not feature any loot boxes or micro-transactions and entire game will be focused on a single player campaign, people simply can't take their word at face value given their past records.

Since publisher EA has horribly failed to meet expectation with Star Wars Battlefront II and then cancelled development for Star Wars game titled "Project Ragtag" in past, all are anticipating for Jedi: Fallen Order with high hopes.

By next month, eager fans and players would all have their much expected exclusive first-look at some actual gameplay to get hyped for and Respawn has confirmed showing up at two events then in a post on Twitter.

EA Play event usually kicks-off with video presentation and just before E3 each year but EA has decided to do things a bit differently in 2019 and getting rid of their presentation part to replace it with live-stream showcase from June 7-9.

Set right after the tragic events of Order 66 that purged almost every Jedi member throughout the galaxy except lone Padawan Cal Kestis, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be launched in late 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Apex Legends Bans 700,000 Cheaters

In a never-ending battle with cheaters, Respawn has banned over 700,000 players on Apex Legends so far.

Set within the fictional universe of Titanfall series, free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends by developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts became an instant hit upon launch and managed to amass 50 million players in a month.

However, one thing the game has been suffering from other than issues like constantly losing its player count is cheaters and Respawn is actively playing a vigilant role with EA to prevent them from ruining experience for others.

When Apex was initially launched, developers had to ban 16,000 cheaters right off the bat and that number has been increasing. Attempts to create over 300,000 new accounts have been thwarted and more than 4,000 cheat seller accounts are banned.

Above mentioned figures are just from past 20 days on PC platform and Respawn has blocked 770,000 players since release. Of course, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are not completely above cheating but those are much easier to keep an eye on.

RELATED: Apex Legends Crosses 50 Million Players

After deploying a reporting tool in Season One update, detecting issues regarding aim-assists, speed boosts, x-ray vision and other performance-enhancing mods selling became easier and more than half a million players got booted for such illicit activity.

Cheating in competitive multiplayer games is a constant problem and developers have teamed up with security and fraud unit of Electronic Arts in order to continue crusade of delivering a clean and healthy environment for players to enjoy the experience.

Although developer team has refused to share how they are fighting the battle but they are attacking cheaters and its sellers from any and every possible angle they can with every resources and tools they can get their hands on.

Despite losing much of early momentum, Apex Legends has still great potential for eSports but much of that possibility is threatened by cheating and CEO of Respawn, Vince Zampella intends to release more seasonal updates to retain players while they continue this fight.

Inadvertently, he crosses paths with Second Sister Inquisitor and tried to run unsuccessfully as we see him being chased down Imperial army. Although help came along as some rebel force and he picks up a broken lightsaber seen from first teaser image.

Battlefield V Firestorm Battle Royale Gameplay Trailer

Firestorm Battle Royale mode will bring new aspects to last-man-standing shooter and comes to Battlefield 5 on March 25.

Though first-person shooter Battlefield V from developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts didn't fare well when it was released back in November 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, many hoped for the post-launch content to change that.

Battlefield fans were hoping that upcoming Battle Royale mode Firestorm would really shake things up for good and we even had an early peak at it from a leaked footage. We saw an official introductory video of what it is about and now there is more.

We saw four player squads dropping in parachutes from above and then immediately forced to engage in a combat within a massive sandbox where they all race against a deadly ring of fire quickly consuming everything on its path of destruction.

Firestorm mostly embraces different gunplay mechanics of BV along with combat vehicles, destructible surroundings and impressive visuals. It offers you a wide array of different rides at launch, including a tractor with mounted cannon on its back.

Whether you are roaming on land, sky or water, with or without assistance, always have a look out for someone trying to ambush on you even if you are in an armored vehicle, because enemies can always fire up some anti-vehicle weapon at you.

You will also be looking for common, rare and epic weapons throughout the map while sometime even came across strongboxes or safes to get the best loots available but chances are, there will be some risks of going after them as well.

Battlefield V Firestorm Official Reveal

Official Firestorm reveal trailer for Battle Royale mode of Battlefield V heralds the release date to be March 25.

Even though standard Battle Royale games offer a 100 player stand-off to death, developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts will allow only 64 to compete in Firestorm mode of their latest first-person shooter game Battlefield V.

A statement issued back in October 2018 announced that players will not receive battle royale mode until March 2019 and now, March 25 is revealed to be the release date for it to all BFV players worldwide via a new trailer dropped by EA.

The trailer starts with a typical style for last-man-standing shooter where we see soldiers jumping off planes in parachute to their destined battleground and help each other out to bring them to their feet, only to notice other squads to drop nearby.

Then they each head to nearby establishments to seek cover and weapons, followed by a shootout between two parties. Bombs starts dropping from above when a red flare is shot at the house next to barn filled with a rival group.

RELATED: Battlefield V Player Visibility Issues Experiment

The gang who arrived first is now out in the open and one of their members finds a tractor that they use to ram through opposing force to break out of the barn they were in. To evade an ever imposing ring of fire on them, they all hop in a helicopter found close at hand.

Moving to a new land to fight, they come across an enemy boat and one of them is lost in the ensuing gunfire. By the time they reach to ground, tanks are deployed, dams are destroyed, forests are burnt and the fire is closing in quicker.

The fight reaches to a climax and the leader of the group draws out his melee weapon to charge at an enemy when he is out of ammo and another of his squad member bites the dust while one of his teammates attempts to shoot that man by targeting him via rifle scope.

Introducing Battlefield's biggest map ever from DICE team, Firestorm lets player engage solo or in 4-person squads as they collect loots and unlock vehicles to ride to victory parade aside from calling in V-1 flying bomb for reinforcements.

Despite a lot of complaints against the developers for failing to live up to expectation and release of an early leaked footage of Battle Royale mode, Firestorm trailer still manages to shine and promise players a great experience that would probably help them redeem themselves.

Set on World War II era, Battlefield V is currently available for everyone to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Though it may sound a little disappointing but those who want to play in duos will have to wait till April 2019 for the mode to finally arrive on the game.

Apex Legends Rumored to Include Titans

Respawn Entertainment is rumored to add giant robot Titans to their sensational battle royale shooter Apex Legends.

Ever since developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts came up with free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One based on their renowned Titanfall series, it has taken over the genre.

Although we are not getting Titanfall 3 anytime soon, Respawn is rumored to add iconic mech-styled Titans from the series to this latest Battle Royale spin-off title that has already topped 50 million player counts within a month of release.

Even before the game arrived for all, people were hoping to see those hulking machines rampaging throughout the battlegrounds but no one really was quite sure how they would fit into the gameplay mechanics of the title.

Set in Titanfall universe after the events of Titanfall 2, the last-man-standing shooter takes place on a lawless sector of victorious militia force Frontier called the Outlands. So, those 20-feet tall machines can start stomping around the landscape of Apex anytime now.

The clip is taken from an early and unreleased build of Apex that features voice lines uttered by a Pathfinder that includes mention of Infected, Reapers, Spectres and Stalkers other than Titans, all belonging to the same fictional universe.

All three of Reapers, Spectres and Stalkers are known ground enemy types from previous games of the franchise. "Infected Coming In" line probably refers to players infecting other rivals to join their side much like Halo's "Infected" mode.

If these robots are included as all-new enemy classes, then we might very well be getting a PvPvE mode where aside from killing each other, players have to worry about and stay alert from being ambushed by these dreaded enemies as well.

On its second month from global launch, Apex Legends has already managed to gather a massive community of players who are eagerly waiting for their first major content update and we sincerely hope that Respawn will make it worth for everyone.

Though many already knows that Firestorm is designed as a last-man-standing shooter on World War II premise where 64 player will try to hunt each other down for the ultimate glory but there will be twist on traditional Battle Royale fashion.

According to the leaked BV clip, you can jump into the middle of action after picking from Solo, Duo and Squads options. Scavenging for items and weapons will begin as soon as people are dropped on the open-world map in parachute.

Depending on where you chose to land, availability of loot would vary from their quantity and type. As landing spots, urban areas will reward players with more gear but would also present great challenges as everyone else would be after them.

Throughout the map, you will come across objectives and safes that will lead you to combat vehicles, rare items and reinforcements. These are the tools with advantages that one needs to change the course of fight and secure victory in the end.

Weapon categories are divided into three different tiers; Common, Rare and Epic, all requiring unique ammo and not much of them can be carried. So, inventory management skill would come in handy or you can share loot with your teammates until you find a backpack to extend slots.

Class specific perks are not a part of Firestorm battle royale mode as you and your squad is fighting for life. Downed players can still use their sidearm while being revived by some allies but it would only work as long as you don't bleed out completely.

In overall comparison, B5 apparently made many improvements to the genre that would hopefully get enough traction and responding to the original Reddit leak, EA took Twitter to state that there are more to come than what we just saw here. Can't wait to find that out!

Although there are no respawning like Apex Legends and no 100-player support like we have in Fortnite or Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Battlefield V is adding their own unique takes to make Battle Royale mode great again.

Apex Legends Crosses 50 Million Players

With only four weeks after release, free-to-play Battle Royale game Apex Legends has gained 50 million players.

Launching out of nowhere on February 4, 2019, free-to-play Battle Royale game Apex Legends from developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts hit the video gaming industry like a wrecking ball and owned it.

The game has been passing one after another milestone ever since it is released and just within four weeks after it initially came out, Respawn's Titanfall series spin-off has successfully managed to hit a whooping 50 million overall player count.

When the game went live, a staggering one million players joined to compete against each other in first eight hours, which grew into an impressive 2.5 million count over PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide by the end of that day.

Soon, people from all over the world took notice of its presence and quickly start comparing it to the closest market competitor, Fortnite Battle Royale, which is another Battle Royale game that has seen a booming growth in a very short time.

Fortnite took an entire 16 weeks to amass 45 million players but back then, that number was pretty remarkable. After its launch in September 2017, the game picked up 125 million players and accomplished 200 million participants so far.

However, Apex has gathered more than what Epic Games' last-man-standing shooter did in a couple of months but at an incredibly faster rate by reaching 50 million players mark in 28 just days, thus putting other titans of the industry in shame.

Fortnite originally launched with a co-op survival game mode titled Save the World but failed to gain traction from players until they came up with free-to-play Battle Royale component. Aside from a massive player base, it garnered cultural relevance and huge popularity.

Although both Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds are still ruling champions when it comes to Battle Royale genre, Apex Legends surely is a new champion on the rising and probably the competition that can possibly overthrow the reigning supreme.
