Max Payne 3 Image Hints at Grand Theft Auto 6 Location

Rockstar Games may have already hinted Grand Theft Auto 6 location back in 2013 through Max Payne 3.

Despite any official word from developer/publisher Rockstar Games on upcoming sequel of action-adventure game Grand Theft Auto V, players have plenty of reason to believe Grand Theft Auto VI is in active development for some time.

There have been clues and hints that fans found so far that at least proves GTA6 is coming soon. Similarly, one poster from third-person shooter Max Payne 3 seemingly hints at location and release window of GTA VI from back in 2013.

A user on Reddit named Someguy5333 has noticed a post from months ago by another handle of Fyerro69 sharing an image of fictional band Love Fist, which has some tour dates listed that actually aligns with many of Rockstar past releases.

Those locations mention alongside dates actually matches with their fictional counterparts within Rockstar game universe. Except for Las Venturas, almost every other venue are either from Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption.

Up until now, clues like accidental Instagram post of motion capture artists, resume of voice actors and Rockstar tax reports have hinted that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in works and some have given hope to fans that GTA 6 is coming soon.

Although many of these alleged leaks from 4chan, GTA Forums and Reddit has been incorrect thus far, it didn't stop fans from digging out any tiny bits of information on next GTA game, even if it means they have to go back to 2013.

There is very little chance that Rockstar Games have hidden release date of upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 in front of us for this long, especially scheduling so far in advance when changes happen in video game development so often.

All other dates are apparently a simple nod to those titles, except for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Though this is more likely to appease fans of Easter eggs, Las Venturas may end up having some real ties with Grand Theft Auto VI after all.

GTA 6 Websites Updated Before Rumored Reveal

Rockstar updates website domains related to Grand Theft Auto 6 shortly before a rumored reveal date.

Over past few years, there have been heaps of rumors on highly- anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI none of which came out to be true. One recent rumor claims that developer/publisher Rockstar Games is going to reveal GTA 6 on March 25, 2020.

While this rumored reveal date gets closer, all sorts of gossips starts flying online and lately, some new changes noticed by players have added fuel to that fire when Rockstar has updated domain names associated with upcoming GTA VI.

In general, websites that are somehow related to Grand Theft Auto 6 used to redirect their traffic to Rockstar Games official website but that has changed most recently and now is showing an error message to all of its viewers.

If you dig a little deeper, you will see that GTA VI domain was last updated on March 23, only days before its rumored reveal. Usually, companies do this when their website is ready to launch and Rockstar typically does this to announce IPs.

Reddit user bozidarilic has shared these findings on multiple domain names like GTAVI and GTA6.

Previously, Rockstar updated websites for Bully and Red Dead Redemption but same didn't happen for GTA 6 just yet. In past, they changed yellow color of their logo into red to tease announcement for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Since none of that teasing happened so far, fans should probably watch out for more hints in coming weeks. There are heavy rumors of Grand Theft Auto 6 to be set in Vice City with a single protagonist but noting is confirmed by anyone.

This could all be simply a close coincidence, where these dates have unintentionally rallied up too close and Rockstar probably was doing regular updates for their websites as usual, which has nothing to do with GTA 6 in any way.

If somehow Rockstar Games ends up revealing Grand Theft Auto VI in next few days, GTA fans worldwide will go crazy. Nevertheless, it would be wise for everyone to take things with a grain of salt at this point and calmly wait for a reveal.

Rockstar Games Stuntman May Have Teased GTA 6

Recent social media post by veteran industry stuntman hints at possible setting of Grand Theft Auto 6.

Possibility for a new game release from Grand Theft Auto series by developer/publisher Rockstar Games has been out there for some time and a recent UK tax report suggests that Grand Theft Auto VI is currently under development.

Stepping head first into 2020, players are curious than ever for some more GTA news from credible sources. Lately, one such major hint has come out from Instagram account of someone with a history of working at Rockstar Games.

Largely known for his work as an industry stuntman, actor Tim Neff recently posted a few pictures of him doing motion capture on social media that may be hinting at upcoming GTA 6 game, only to delete them shortly afterwards.

One of his photos wearing mocap suit shows him carrying a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. Its design and model resembles to weaponries usually used in 80's, which aligns with past leaks that claimed GTA VI will be set during 1970 and 1980.

During his career as video game stunt performer, Neff was previously hired by Activision for their 2018 first-person shooter title Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and by Rockstar for Western-themed adventure Red Dead Redemption 2.

Tim Neff has later removed them before setting his account to private, may be on request from Rockstar Games. This is probably a situation similar to when he denied working on RDR2 in past even though his name was mentioned in credits.

So far, GTA 6 was teased many times by several parties and was even seen listed on resume of a former employee of Rockstar last year. Another 2018 post on text storage site Pastebin claims that the game would be a timed PlayStation 5-exclusive.

Whether or not Grand Theft Auto VI ends up getting released later this year, Rockstar Games can at least make an official announcement or maybe they are waiting to reveal the game alongside next-gen console release on holiday 2020.

Rockstar Tax Report Suggests GTA 6 In Works

According to a new UK tax report, Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently under development at Rockstar North.

It goes without saying that developer/publisher Rockstar Games has made an insane amount of money from 2013 open-world crime adventure Grand Theft Auto V and fans are eagerly anticipating its sequel Grand Theft Auto VI to arrive soon.

After accusing Rockstar for dodging corporation tax for past 10 years in United Kingdom, a new tax returns report by same regulating company has revealed that they took a huge sum of tax relief lately in order to get GTA VI ready to release.

A recent report from TaxWatch UK reveals that Rockstar has filed for about 37% of overall video games industry claims in United Kingdom for 2018-2019 tax years, which is the largest grant amount for Video Games Tax Relief from HMRC.

According to that same report, this significant claim was approved for production of next GTA game and Rockstar North already reached out to British Film Institute for authorization of that project being "Culturally British" to get a tax relief.

Overall claimed amount in Video Games Tax Relief by GTA developers are over $49.2 million, which is small a fraction of budget needed to develop GTA 6 compared to total production cost of $265 million for Grand Theft Auto 5.

In recent years, Western action-adventure title Red Dead Redemption 2 has been one of the most expensive games ever produced. Given their high quality standards, a sequel to GTA V would likely to cost that much if not more.

Although government tax relief funds were originally intended for relatively small developers, a large company like Rockstar is clearly taking leverage over that regulation with several highest-grossing entertainment products under their belt.

Since their claimed numbers have drawn attention of tax community in UK, local government might want to take another good look at how those rules should be defined without causing a delay to release of next Grand Theft Auto title.

Most recently, trusted insider and renowned YouTuber SWEGTA declared on social media that parent company and publisher Take-Two Interactive is currently planning to maintain frequent game release schedule from now on.

With Microsoft and Sony lining up launch window of their next-generation console hardware PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X for later this year, Grand Theft Auto VI has every possibility of arriving sooner than expected by everyone.

Crackdown 2 Developers Working on New Rockstar Game

Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games is hiring talents to reportedly work on new project for Rockstar Games.

British video game developer Ruffian Games has made a name for themselves in video game industry after working on Xbox 360-exclusive action-adventure game Crackdown 2 back in 2010 for publisher Microsoft Game Studios.

After rumors starts flying about developer/publisher Rockstar Games having multiple new games in development and confirmed by a former employee, it is revealed lately that Ruffian is involved in one of their upcoming projects.

Following their successful stint on second installment of Crackdown series, they contributed to Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Crackdown 3 multiplayer mode Wrecking Zone this year alongside several other projects.

Their job listing on official site is looking to hire talents for a few positions for multiplayer action games including roles like senior engineer, senior gameplay engineer and UI engineer but no mentions for Rockstar Games are found there.

However, they recently retweeted an article shared by Scottish Games Network that mentioned about working on games for Rockstar.

Both Rockstar and Ruffian are Scottish companies and the latter is comprised of former developers of Grand Theft Auto series. These are some relatable factors for starters that make their partnership great and meaningful.

There is no clear indication of what they will be working on though except for their "multiplayer action games" title will be for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and "future platforms", meaning upcoming PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett.

Rockstar made huge bucks from their 2013 action-adventure title Grand Theft Auto V, which is one of the best-selling games of all time. In 2019, they brought home more cash from Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Redemption 2.

They may or may not be working on long-anticipated game Bully 2 and possibly an online multiplayer mode for it. Their plan of working on games for next-generation consoles as well as current platforms doesn't mean much either.

There was rumor of Grand Theft Auto VI being a PS5 launch title featuring a female protagonist and an even bigger map than GTAV. Before Rockstar released GTA5 on PS4 and Xbox One, they brought the game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 first.

Since GTA6 is likely to be a much larger release than any of their previous games, Rockstar Games may not bring their next project to older platforms and despite their vast resources, has recruited Ruffian Games for additional support.
