Watch Dogs 2 Still Free on Uplay Now

Ubisoft is still offering free giveaway copies of Watch Dogs 2 on PC to anyone with an Uplay account.

To showcase their upcoming releases and ongoing development, developer/publisher Ubisoft has hosted their first digital event Ubisoft Forward on July 12, revealing footages and gameplay from highly-anticipated titles yesterday.

Ubisoft also decided to giveaway free copies of Watch Dogs 2 for PC platform via Uplay to those who watched UbiForward stream when it was live but many have failed to claim their freebies and yet, everyone is getting a copy now.

During livestreaming of UbiForward, many tried to log into Uplay account but failed due to server issues and therefore, Ubisoft is allowing people to a second chance to have a copy of WD2 before July 15, 11:59 PM PT/2:59 PM ET.

Briefly after Uplay servers crashed, fans took social media to address this unforeseen issue and Ubisoft Support have assured everyone on Twitter to offer Watch Dogs 2 for free regardless by sending users to official Ubisoft Forward page.

Watch Dogs 2 Free on Uplay During UbiForward Event

Ubisoft is offering PC version of Watch Dogs 2 for free on Uplay during livestreaming for UbiForward event.

Since a worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 has forced E3 2020 to be cancelled earlier, every other major video game companies are having their own digital event these days and even developer/publisher Ubisoft joined in lately.

To kick off their summer celebration for this year, Ubisoft is inviting everyone to catch up today through UbiForward event, on July 12, 12:00 PM PT/3:00 PM ET and will be giving away free copies of Watch Dogs 2 for PC via Uplay.

Ubisoft is probably trying to build up a community of players with Watch Dogs 2 free giveaway before they release Watch Dogs: Legion later this year and even offered first Watch Dogs game via Epic Games Store back in March 2020.

To help everyone who are stuck indoors practicing social distancing to fight an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, developer/publisher Ubisoft has been offering some of their known titles on PC platform via Uplay for free lately.

Ubisoft is currently giving away Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Greece from Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey for free to download and own on Uplay from March 14, 11 PM to May 22, 12 AM of your local time.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Closed Beta Live Now

Closed Beta for Tom Clancy shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint goes live now and Ubisoft reveals post-launch plans.

Just a month ahead of global release on October 4, 2019, developer/publisher Ubisoft kick-started the Closed Beta program for their upcoming tactical shooter title Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

Starting from September 5, Closed Beta will be open until September 8, for a chance to explore Auroa before launch. You can join in for solo adventure or join up in four player co-op game with three of your friends on same platform.

Assassin's Creed Unity Free on Uplay Now

To stand in solidarity for the fire ravaged iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris, Ubisoft is giving away Assassins Creed Unity for free on Uplay.

Even if you don't keep up much with international news, you may have heard about the devastating fire at iconic Notre-Dame cathedral of Paris on this Monday, April 15 that has moved everyone around the world in shock.

To stand in solidarity with everyone affected by it, French video game developer/publisher Ubisoft has announced to donate €500,000 for its restoration work and offering free copies of Assassin's Creed Unity on PC via Uplay, available until April 25.

Set during French Revolution era of a fictional Paris, AC Unity focuses efforts of protagonist Arno Victor Dorian in exposing forces behind wheels of Revolution and its gameplay follows a stealth based combat system in an open-world.

Entire set pieces of this installment are from a time when cathedral of Notre-Dame was vandalized and players are to enter the central church chasing Templar Sivert at one point, which remains a very notable part of the game.

While designing the in-game version of this renowned monumental piece, senior level artist Caroline Miousse said in a 2014 interview that they went through a lot of blueprints and Assassin's Creed historian Maxime Durand helped of course.

Rainbow Six Siege 'Outbreak' Trailer and Free Weekend

Ubisoft's team-based tactical shooter game Rainbow Six Siege has just stepped into Year 3 Season 1 content, Operation Chimera and it will go live from February 19 on the technical test servers. There is a cooperative new event called Outbreak that will be added to Operation Chimera from February 20 on the test servers too. By the time you will get to butt into "Outbreak" will be March 6 and it will continue till April 3.

Before you get to go into the Quarantine Zone of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, here is the latest trailer featuring Operator Eliza "Ash" Cohen, hinting at the pandemic causing the event.

The plot of Watch Dogs is about a skilled gray-hat hacker Aiden Pearce and he is operating from an upgraded version of Chicago of near-future, where everyone and everything is connected through a network. When a digital heist goes wrong, he and his family goes on the run from hired guns and her niece dies in the conflict. Now, it's up to Aiden to avenge her and protect his remaining family as well. A sequel, Watch Dogs 2 was released on November, 2016 set in San Francisco.
