Rainbow Six Siege 'Outbreak' Trailer and Free Weekend

Ubisoft's team-based tactical shooter game Rainbow Six Siege has just stepped into Year 3 Season 1 content, Operation Chimera and it will go live from February 19 on the technical test servers. There is a cooperative new event called Outbreak that will be added to Operation Chimera from February 20 on the test servers too. By the time you will get to butt into "Outbreak" will be March 6 and it will continue till April 3.

Before you get to go into the Quarantine Zone of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, here is the latest trailer featuring Operator Eliza "Ash" Cohen, hinting at the pandemic causing the event.




As part of the Season One content for Rainbow Six Siege Year 3, Outbreak mode is completely free. Plus, there are three more seasons to come this year and six more Operators will join the elite gang by then to make it a total of eight new recruits. As always, players with Season Pass will get early access to the content seven days early along with other perks like credits, headgear and uniforms. These also include the "Damascus Steel" skin and a 5% renowned boost for you as well.

If you haven't signed in for the adventure that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has to offer to you yet, then there is a Free Weekend coming your way very soon in the spirit of Operation Chimera and upcoming Outbreak event. This upcoming February 15, start your free trial for the full game and play it until February 18 to your heart's content with other 25 Million players from worldwide or with your best buddies for greater experience.

Should you choose to purchase the game after the trial period is over, your progress will be carried out to the full version game. PC gamers can get their access using Steam or Uplay. Players from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can also join at the same time. There is a professional tournament on Rainbow Six Siege is going on in Montreal and hopefully, Ubisoft will reveal more details on Operation Chimera and the Outbreak there.
