In first look, Bleeding Edge looks a lot like a steampunk edition of popular hero shooter title Overwatch meets Borderlands loot shooter. However, it has a diverse roster featuring some bizarre-looking characters that sets it apart aside from its genre.

They do not necessarily fit in usual class categories like attack, defense, support or tank types as each character has a set of combat styles that are mix of ranged and melee moves to eventually master over time through constant exploring.

Bleeding Edge also leans toward an unlikely combat method than typical character centric multiplayer games. Instead of focusing solely on ranged attacks, players can go and face their rivals directly with some old-school melee action.

Having expertise in close quarter combat mechanics, the studio would have an advantage to stand out within its type of games. Plus, combat director, Rahni Tucker is on board with developers to make sure that they do.
