We already know Legion is set in post-Brexit era of London city that has completely become a futuristic dystopia through a leaked retailer listing from last week. Citizens become second class following drastic change in politics and technology.

What we know was how almost everyone and everything was under constant surveillance network but what we didn't know was that society is taken over by corrupt private military organization and there are killer drones.

A resistance is formed by secret hactivist group DedSec, who makes their awaited return and player goes out to recruit various NPCs each one with different attributes and skills from open-world streets of London to join their collective.

One of your fellow citizens passing by could be a former MI5 operative, a prominent hacker or a grandma who used to be a professional assassin. Their unique set of skills will often be key to complete various mission objectives at hand.

You may need to pick someone expert in combat who can punch his way out of trouble or good at infiltration to get in places harder to reach. Getting a doctor within your group can benefit all of your team members with health buff.

Though often seem as random, their character traits are distinct and you can literally pick up anyone from in-game world to recruit into your fold. However, none of them will join DedSec immediately and you have to approach them each in different ways.

Players can amass up to 20 rebel members from entire populace to join them and you can switch between them at any time to properly employ their diverse talents. Plus, leveling up your crew earns them extra perks and necessary adjustments.

If you get into a situation and get knocked up, you can either keep fighting or surrender. There is a permadeath system, which means you are out if you go down but if you are sent to jail, at least another DedSec member can bail you out.

Ubisoft has planned out a very ambitious gameplay system for WDL by taking their time where hacking your way through London is the only way to get by since civil liberties have been trampled long ago and your rights means nothing.

Aside from arriving on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at launch, Watch Dogs: Legion will also be available on Google Stadia. A city full of recruits opens up possibilities of near-limitless different outcomes and we can't wait to see how that works.
