Resident Evil 8 and Street Fighter 5 Will Be Showcased at Tokyo Games Show

Capcom announces to host live broadcast at Tokyo Games Show for news regarding Resident Evil 8 and Street Fighter V.

Right after a surprise announcement during PlayStation 5 Reveal Event, developer/publisher Capcom promised to reveal new information for much-anticipated upcoming survival horror title Resident Evil VIII: Village in August 2020.

Throughout entire month of August, they remained silent and Capcom has recently came out confirming to unveil more details later this month at Tokyo Game Show on September 27, due to ongoing effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

Capcom is planning to host a two-day livestream broadcast at official Twitch channel during Tokyo Game Show. Though there are not hints of what attendees can expect but a gameplay trailer or release date reveal may be coming.

Capcom will start TGS broadcast with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition on September 27, 2020. Following day on September 27, next showcase will be featuring Resident Evil: Village from 5 AM PT/8 AM EDT to 8 AM PT/11 AM EDT.

What we already know is that Resident Evil 8 is going to be exclusive for next-gen consoles just to avoid long loading period. RE8 will follow legacy of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and carry out survival horror elements from early titles.

Resident Evil 8: Village is currently scheduled to release on 2021 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Aside from a definitive launch date and gameplay teaser, a deeper look at its sinister plot will be much appreciated by fans.
