Daredevil Joins Fortnite for Marvel Knockout Super Series

Already adding Marvel superheroes like Iron Man, Thor and Wolverine, developer/publisher Epic Games plans to include even more hero skins to ongoing Nexus War for free-to-play battle royale game Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4.

In hype of upcoming Marvel Knockout Super Series event, another Marvel hero makes his iconic debut on Fortnite. Joining soon will be the Man Without Fear, Daredevil to participate in one of four competitive cup on October 14, 2020.

Fortnite will be hosting four competitive cups to wrap up Marvel Knockout limited time mode. Kicking off with Daredevil Cup, winners of each region will get early access to Daredevil outfit before it becomes available on Item Shop.

Players who would participate in all four cups of Marvel Knockout limited time mode can win over an exclusive Nexus War Glider. After finishing up first cup, rest three will eventually take place throughout the month of November.

All four cups of Marvel Knockout Super Series will conclude to a final $1 million tournament on November 21, 2020. Daredevil Cup or Knockout Series events won't be regulated or sponsored by Marvel, despite having ties to Epic Games.

Fortnite puts a spin on Operation: Knockout where a team is pitted against enemies in a round-based fight using super-powers. You and your squad will receive different set of powers in each round to battle rivals wielding similar abilities.

Of course, players will not be receiving any extra buffs for wear Daredevil skin on battlefield; it sure would make them feel good as nice bragging rights to showoff among your peers and to intimidate all rivals out there in Fortnite Island.

Given that Fortnite has plans to host three more Knockout Series cups and each of them will be themed around a new Marvel hero, Epic Games is very much likely to introduce more Marvel superhero outfits for future tournament events.
