Borderlands 3: Bloody Harvest Halloween Event Returns

Gearbox brings back seasonal Halloween event in Bloody Harvest Returns for Borderlands 3, offering unique rewards.

It's been a year since action role-playing first-person shooter game Borderlands 3 is launched, yet developer Gearbox Software and publisher 2K Games continues to roll out new content and live events for players on all major platforms.

Halloween is about to start very soon this year and Gearbox is ready to celebrate this annual spooky festival as well via seasonal limited time event Bloody Harvest Returns, starting from October 8 and will run until November 5, 2020.

Halloween event Bloody Harvest Returns will introduce Haunted enemies via "Terror" status and a boss character named Captain Haunt and few returning challenges to let you earn various festive rewards and offer legendary loot items.

Hunt for loot becomes "less grindy" and BL3 players will notice festive touch across all four DLC campaigns released this year. Collect enough Hecktoplasm for Maurice to meet Captain Haunt and a couple of challenges to unlock rewards.

Bloody Harvest event originally came out as a DLC for Borderlands 2 and eventually became a part of Borderlands 3 last year. Vault Hunters who don't care much about rewards can also opt out from taking part using in-game main menu.

Gearbox Software already announced to release a free next-gen upgrade for Borderlands 3 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Players will be able to transfer all game saves and purchased DLC from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
