Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC Release Date

Shortly after revealing a "Christmas Update" for holiday season last year, developer/publisher Motion Twin announces to release Fatal Falls DLC expansion for roguelike Metroidvania-style action platformer Dead Cells by early 2021.

Motion Twin and Evil Empire released a brand-new gameplay trailer today for Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC with a price tag of $4.99 only, which is arriving on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on January 26, 2021.

Motion Twin rolls out an extended gameplay trailer to showcase features of Dead Cells: Fatal Falls DLC.

Fatal Falls will be adding two new biomes, a challenging boss fight, new enemies, weapons and widespread changes to game. Players already saw glimpses at new environments of Fractured Shrines and Undying Shores in recent trailer.

These areas may draw similarities with Clock Tower and Stilt Village to offer an alternate route and make things more exciting. Fatal Falls DLC expansion introduces bunch of additional outfits for The Prisoner this season to slay in style.

Old-school players would probably recognize Royal Gardener, who is infected with malaise and appears as new boss, Scarecrow. Newest addition of a hovering sword can be your pet and help you mow down all hostile creatures on sight.

Aside from your flying sword, there are Cocoon, Ferryman's Lantern, Iron Staff, Lightning Rods, Scarecrow Sickles, Serpent Fangs, Scythes and Serenade to pursue a path of violence against a whole crowd of treacherous enemy creatures.
