Modern Warfare Loading Screens Add Black Lives Matter Message

Loading screens for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone is changed with Black Lives Matter message.

Only days after release date for Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone is revealed, developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision came forward announcing a sudden delay until a later date.

In a response to recent protest across the world surrounding unlawful murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police on May 25, Infinity Ward updated Modern Warfare and Warzone loading screens with message supporting Black Lives Matter.

Right after calling off upcoming Call of Duty seasons, developer studio has added new loading screen to pledge their support to the cause. They are also planning to crack down on in-game racist content, remarks and usernames as well.

Whereas many corporate entities have voiced their support with protestor groups by speaking out against racism or donating money, Modern Warfare took a stance by replacing in-game screen with Black Lives Matter message.

In wake of George Floyd's death, there have been riots across cities by thousands of protestors. Additionally, both #BlackLivesMatter and #BLM hashtags are trending throughout social media and other online platforms denouncing racism.

Activision and Infinity Ward moved to take their stance shortly after Sony publicly announce postponing their recent PlayStation 5 reveal event in solidarity with other AAA-publishers like 2K Games, Electronic Arts, Rockstar Games and more.

Call of Duty: Warzone Adds Duos Mode

Infinity Ward finally adds Duos mode for Call of Duty: Warzone alongside currently available game modes.

From initial period of its launch, players have been requesting developer Infinity Ward and Raven Software on social media and everywhere else online to add a duos mode for free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone.

Taking all that community feedback into account, Infinity Ward has finally made duos playlist available ahead of Season 4 update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare so everyone can grab a wingman before heading to Verdansk map.

Usually, players are required to join forces in three-player squads with friends or random parties or brave a mission alone. Now that latest playlist for Warzone has been rolled out, everyone can pair up and jump into firefight.

Currently supporting up to 150 players, Verdansk will allow a maximum of 75 duos teams to duke it out among them for victory. You have to watch each others' back before they bleed out and loose loadout to save a trip to Gulag.

Duos mode will put pairs against an odd challenge of defeating dozens of other squads where success heavily relies on good teamwork. Sticking close to each other at all times is very essential for survival and so is coordinating tactics.

With recent introduction of duos mode, teams of any size from one-to-four players can take part and have fun. Plan out your landing zone in advance, build a Buy Station, call out loot locations and revive each other when needed.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Leaked on PlayStation Network

First look of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered" got leaked on PlayStation Network ahead or release.

Last year, Pan European Game Information (PEGI) revealed through an accidental listing that developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision is working on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered" for PlayStation 4.

Most recently, an application field for MW2 Campaign Remastered on Korean ratings board site has reassured of its existence. Now, a deleted leaked listing at PlayStation Store suggests that MW2 will be launching on March 31, 2020.

A product page on PSN store has confirmed its launch date and this came shortly after a dataminer has leaked Activision's plan for both first-person shooter games Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone regarding MW2.

These two companion titles will be promoting Modern Warfare 2, which you can buy standalone or from within MW 2019. More details on MW2 were revealed by Call of Duty leaker Senescallo on Reddit lately, including an official cover art.

Report from Senescallo says that, purchasing Ghost Pack: Oil Rig Bundle for Modern Warfare (2019) will get you Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered for free, costing 10,000 CoD Points or its equivalent price of $80.65 only.

German PSN store listing shows that the title is priced €24.99, which is about of $27.55 only and has noted that entire campaign mode is completely remastered with animations, improved textures, HDR lighting, rendering and much more.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered May Be Coming Soon

South Korean ratings board site has recently rated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.

Almost year ago, a listing of 2009 first-person shooter game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered for PlayStation 4 console popped up at Pan European Game Information (PEGI) website, which was removed shortly.

According to a recent leak from South Korean ratings board site of Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC), a listing for "Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered" has been sighted being rated on February 26, 2020.

From given title, it appears that only single-player campaign will be included and not its multiplayer component. Although no launch platforms or release window are revealed so far, an official announcement may come out any time.

MW2 listing is for a standalone release by publisher Activision rather than a bundle with another Call of Duty game, which is probably due to past backlash for bundling two games into one package and forcing fans to pay extra.

Twitter user Nibel has posted out a link to South Korean ratings board listing Modern Warfare 2 Remastered lately.

RELATED: Call of Duty: Warzone Adds Solos Mode

This crazy rumor mill for Modern Warfare 2 Remastered started on 2018 through an Amazon listing that seemingly hinted at its development, which was followed up by a PEGI leak a year later and that record was removed pretty quickly.

Upon delivering Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered back in 2017, a likely move for Activision/Blizzard would be to give its sequel a similar treatment and whether or not they intend to do that is not officially confirmed yet.

RELATED: Call of Duty 2020 Rumored to Be Black Ops Reboot

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 became pretty infamous on release due to its controversial "No Russian" mission, where player character and CIA agent Joseph Allen takes part in a mass shooting to gain trust of a Russian terrorist group.

This level has sparked major argument within gaming community over whether there is a need for this mission at all. Due to nature of its disturbing content, MW2 was heavily censored and "No Russian" was removed from Russian versions.

RELATED: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is Backwards Compatible on Xbox One

People were lead to MW2 Remastered it will be arriving in 2019 for 10th anniversary of its original release but that never happened. However, an application field on Korean ratings board by Blizzard Entertainment actually confirms its existence.

Until now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer mode has not been rated and some fans are worried about missing out its fast-paced action. Many are wondering if the game will release alongside upcoming Black Ops reboot.
