Ubisoft unveils new trailer featuring gameplay and story bits of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint at E3 2019 presentation.

Last month, developer/publisher Ubisoft officially announced their upcoming tactical shooter game Ghost Recon: Breakpoint as a follow-up sequel to Ghost Recon: Wildlands after it was accidentally leaked on Ubisoft Store only a day ago.

This military shooter brings back protagonist Nomad and his fellow Ghost team members to tackle a new threat who has all of their skills and technology at their disposal but are willing to employ them with a viewpoint that threatens global peace.

The trailer shows scenes from an earlier gameplay walkthrough with Nomad voicing over how he alongside his brothers-in-arms would take down these seasoned predators in their own hunting ground one by one against all odds.

Mostly focused on four-player co-op play, GRB sends players to face off a skilled army with high-tech weaponry. Those who are playing solo would be assisted by AI teammates so that they can get a helping hand whenever needed.

A brand-new Bivouac system allows players to set camps to heal wounds while features like dialogue choices will be available in story mode. A competitive multiplayer mode will be included to this open-world tactical shooter at launch.

Just like developer team supported GRW with tons of post-launch content, GRB will see arrival of the Terminator at some point and this crossover with Terminator: Dark Fate live-action movie is teased with a musical hint during UBIE3.

Nomad would be leading an enraged bunch of Ghosts against a pack of hungry Wolves in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint when it releases worldwide On October 4, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, then a month later for Google Stadia.

Watch Dogs: Legion E3 2019 Reveal

Ubisoft premiers Watch Dogs: Legion at E3 2019 event with gameplay footage and a release date set for 2020.

There has been rumor out there for long that developer/publisher Ubisoft was working on a new installment of Watch Dogs game from their popular action-adventure series, which got leaked by Amazon and then officially confirmed.

A worldwide reveal event at E3 2019 for upcoming open-world hacking adventure game Watch Dogs: Legion was announced. Ubisoft press conference gave us an introduction, gameplay video and an official release date of March 6, 2020.

We already know Legion is set in post-Brexit era of London city that has completely become a futuristic dystopia through a leaked retailer listing from last week. Citizens become second class following drastic change in politics and technology.

What we know was how almost everyone and everything was under constant surveillance network but what we didn't know was that society is taken over by corrupt private military organization and there are killer drones.

A resistance is formed by secret hactivist group DedSec, who makes their awaited return and player goes out to recruit various NPCs each one with different attributes and skills from open-world streets of London to join their collective.

One of your fellow citizens passing by could be a former MI5 operative, a prominent hacker or a grandma who used to be a professional assassin. Their unique set of skills will often be key to complete various mission objectives at hand.

You may need to pick someone expert in combat who can punch his way out of trouble or good at infiltration to get in places harder to reach. Getting a doctor within your group can benefit all of your team members with health buff.

Though often seem as random, their character traits are distinct and you can literally pick up anyone from in-game world to recruit into your fold. However, none of them will join DedSec immediately and you have to approach them each in different ways.

Players can amass up to 20 rebel members from entire populace to join them and you can switch between them at any time to properly employ their diverse talents. Plus, leveling up your crew earns them extra perks and necessary adjustments.

If you get into a situation and get knocked up, you can either keep fighting or surrender. There is a permadeath system, which means you are out if you go down but if you are sent to jail, at least another DedSec member can bail you out.

E3 2019 has also brought us a gameplay walkthrough of Legion for a detailed outlook of how things are played out.

RELATED: The Division 2 Adds Gunner Specialization

Ubisoft has planned out a very ambitious gameplay system for WDL by taking their time where hacking your way through London is the only way to get by since civil liberties have been trampled long ago and your rights means nothing.

Aside from arriving on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at launch, Watch Dogs: Legion will also be available on Google Stadia. A city full of recruits opens up possibilities of near-limitless different outcomes and we can't wait to see how that works.

Watch Dogs: Legion Confirmed

Ubisoft took Twitter to announce confirmation for Watch Dogs: Legion after Amazon listing leak and will reveal at E3 2019.

After an accidental leak from Amazon UK product listing has revealed existence of next game from Watch Dogs action-adventure series to be Watch Dogs: Legion, it was eventually confirmed by developer/published Ubisoft on Twitter.

Not only have they officially confirmed newest release from their open-world franchise is in works but has also stated to show up at E3 2019, most likely for a worldwide reveal trailer launch with new trailer and some key-details.

Ubisoft simply posted a brief video of a glitchy red WD logo showing up and confirmation for E3 showcase on Twitter.

Following the leak going public on social media, they officially came out with Legion within next 24 hour. It was not a huge surprise for people because rumors of a third game from Watch Dogs series has been circling around for some time now.

WDL will be set in a post-Brexit, dystopian version of London that saw a massive shift in society because of change in politics and technology. What they are eyeing for here is probably a sensitive issue like mass surveillance and that makes sense.

RELATED: Skull & Bones Delayed to 2020

For a new age of cyber crime spree to spread chaos across the UK capital next, Ubisoft will build up a highly detailed London city for Legion like they previously did with Chicago and San Francisco in past installments of WD franchise.

Although we already know that player would be able to play as any NPC if they want to, some mysteries are still there. This cryptic line from publisher Tweet, "God Save the NPCs." may hint at victimization of in-game NPCs like never before.

RELATED: Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight Revealed

We did not learn much other than a title confirmation and an upcoming reveal over at E3 from this Twitter reveal but it was a decent move by the studio to simply assure fans what they have been hyping and speculating all along for a while.

It would really be interesting to see how Ubisoft is going to make Watch Dogs: Legion stand apart among so many free-roaming games set in open-world these days but many fans would probably be happy to get back to their favorite series once again.

Watch Dogs: Legion Leaked on Amazon

A recent leak from Amazon UK listing revealed next Watch Dogs game title that lets you play as NPC characters.

Up until now there were only rumors for the next game in Watch Dogs franchise existing as well as couple of hints here and there but thanks to an accidental product listing in advance by Amazon UK lately, that has been changed.

It appears that Watch Dogs: Legion is going to be upcoming open-world game from popular action-adventure series from developer/published Ubisoft and it also has some details about story settings and unique gameplay feature.

An early rumor suggested that the game will be set in London and according to leaks; it seems to be accurate after all. Also, Legion seems to be a legit title given how this one has come out from several credible sources lately.

After exploring two major cities in U.S. like Chicago and San Francisco in two early releases of Watch Dogs series, moving over to a new location would most likely allow for Ubisoft to experiment with a lot of new stuff in hacker culture.

Twitter user @Wario64 has posted a screenshot of the now-deleted listing, product description and a dead link to product page.

The game is set in a post-Brexit world where society has gone through a huge shift and players will be able to play as anyone. Depending on which NPC characters you are playing as, there might be variable different things to come across.

Developing such a system should give developers quite a pain and don't be surprised if they even delay it once. Ubisoft is definitely going for a more serious tone with WDL with a dystopian London that already has highest surveillance systems.

Unofficial count says that there is currently a network of at least 1.85 millions security cameras installed throughout cities of U.K. with its politics is also changing right now and that makes the city a perfect playfield choice for Legion.

Since Watch Dogs: Legion was listed for PlayStation 4, we can safely assume that it would also launch on PC and Xbox One too with possibility of crossing over to next-gen consoles in future but we will probably learn more on that at E3 2019.

The Division 2 Adds Gunner Specialization

Tom Clancy tactical shooter title The Division 2 adds new Gunner specialization within SHD Agents ranks.

Other than mostly being a tactical shooter, The Division 2 has action role-playing aspects and skill system in place for players to focus on. Already three different specializations are deployed so far and the game just added another one.

A fourth Specialist, Gunner is recruited this month as a tank within squad alongside previously added Demolitionist, Sharpshooter and Survivalist class to wreck havoc on the streets of Washington, D.C. and help reclaim it.

Signature weapon for Gunner would be a powerful minigun and receive bonus armor depending on Specialization ammunition amount, when activated. Only downside is Gunner can't go for cover, roll or even vault when drawing weapon.

Though lack of cover would be a disadvantage for any Division agents but that has been compensated with wave of bullets at their disposal. Considered a vanguard for fellow SHD Agents, they have great prominence in both inflicting and sustaining damage.

Gunner has a new skill tree, P320 XCompact sidearm and Banshee Signature Skill to confuse enemies. It will make them coming out of cover and unsettled, only to get blasted into bits or get trapped in place by special Riot Foam grenade.

Unlocking this new specialization class would require players to complete Special Field Research, which are five stages of in-game challenges. Taking on objectives will offer you rewards and allow access of Gunner with newest signature weapon.

Gunner will become available on Public Test Server from June 4 to receive community feedback before fully going live in Title Update 4 later this month. Year 1 Pass owners will unlock it right away including cosmetic, emotes, mask and uniform.

Action RPG Tom Clancy shooter title The Division 2 from developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft has launched on March 15, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms to serve as sequel for The Division of 2016.

Rainbow Six Siege Coming to Next-Gen PlayStation and Xbox

Rather than a sequel, Ubisoft is working to move tactical FPS title Rainbow Six Siege to PS5 and next-gen Xbox consoles.

Gamers on consoles are eagerly waiting for next generation of PlayStation and Xbox to roll out from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft but players of online tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege may not need to worry about jumping ship just yet.

Apparently, developer/published Ubisoft has already planned this through in advance as this critically-acclaimed Tom Clancy shooter of 2015 is obviously coming to PS5 and next-gen Xbox consoles, because R6Siege has a lot to offer.

Currently, Siege is on its Year 4 Season 2 post-launch content and they are boasting over 100,000 players each day on PC platform alone. All credit goes to Ubisoft being consistently dedicated on improving its quality of support.

On top of everything, they have been delivering steady bug fix and still working on introducing 100 unique operators with distinct abilities. The studio has earned over $1.12 billion in a total lifetime of R6S and has 45 million active players.

Siege brand director, Alexandre Remy confirmed during Pro League Season 9 Finals that there will not be a sequel or whatsoever because Ubisoft simply don't want to create a division between player communities over different platforms.

The strength of any multiplayer game is the size of its community, so I do believe that we have to make every effort possible that when next gen comes in, they are treated as a high-end PC versus another PC.

He also encloses that developers are on early stages of working with Sony and Microsoft on how to transition between two console generations and how that would that serve player community but are not sure yet how to employ that.

Whether or not this transition process would require people to buy a new copy of the multiplayer shooter for next-gen upgrade other than a new console or would they be using backwards compatibility features depends a lot on hardware.

Nevertheless, a constant effort from developers to add more values to Siege by providing new content updates each year and trying to arrange a seamless move for everyone clearly shows how much they truly care for their customers.

Also, introducing cross-play into Rainbow Six Siege has a long way to go and Ubisoft on board with that idea given how games like Fortnite, Rocket League and upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is bringing players from varied platforms together.

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight Revealed

Operation Phantom Sight DLC for team shooter Rainbow Six Siege reveals two new operators Nøkk and Warden.

Back in February 17, 2019, developer/publisher Ubisoft has announced a new free expansion Operation Phantom Sight for their popular online tactical shooter game Rainbow Six Siege on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Currently is in Year 4 Season 2 content, Siege is including two new Operators and featuring a reworked version of Kafe Dostoyevsky map. Details of this upcoming DLC have been revealed during Pro League Finals, today at Milan, Italy.

A member of Danish Jægerkorpset Corps, Nøkk is a new Attacker and a mysterious persona to even Team Rainbow. She carries an FMG-9 and SIX12-SD while uses a high-tech HEL Presence Reduction to become invisible to be detected by her enemies.

This medium-speed, medium-armor Rainbow attacker agent is good at infiltration and stealth like a ghost. However, her gadget might glitch but won't give away her position if she does nothing except moving on a normal or slower pace.

Then there is a dapper new defender from American Secret Service named Warden, who at first glance may remind you of Walter White from Breaking Bad. His primary weapon of choice is an M590A1 shotgun and an MPX submachine gun as a strong anchor.

Warden uses a pair of Glance Smart Glasses to remain impervious to flashes and see through smokes. A high-armor, low-speed Operator, he is highly effective against Blitz, Capitão, Glaz and Ying but have to wary of Thatcher and IQ for their gadget-disabling abilities.

Developers at Ubisoft has also reworked existing Kafe Dostoyevsky map to suit it better for competitive play. First floor of the café is now redesigned with a remodeled kitchen and second floor got new bomb sites, plus received other tweaks.

Season Pass owners for Year 4 of Rainbow Six Siege would have two new Operators, Nøkk and Warden already unlocked at launch on their platforms and others can purchase them only after seven days using their in-game R6 credits.

Skull & Bones Delayed to 2020

Once again, Ubisoft has delayed their upcoming pirate adventure game Skull & Bones to 2020 and skipping its E3 2019 showcase.

Upcoming anticipated open-world action game Skull & Bones from developer/publisher Ubisoft was announced back at E3 2017 with an initial launch window of 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only to be delayed to 2019 last year.

However, that date is now being delayed once again and will only come out after their current fiscal year will end in March 2020. The pirate adventure will not show up at E3 2019 next month and will be released on spring next year.

Ubisoft made a statement saying that it is very common for newer IPs to take more time in development phase because of creative vision and newer ideas and in May 2018, developers asked for more time to deliver an engaging experience.

According to their recent earnings report, ongoing publishing plans for SNB suggests that it may eventually arrive sometime around April 2020. Since it was pushed back to improve quality, we can only hope that it was for the best reasons.

RELATED: Rainbow Six Siege Reverse Friendly Fire Update

A video featuring producer Karl Luhe addressing this delay was posted lately by Skull & Bones official Twitter account. He talks about where they are now in terms of development and offers some behind-the-scenes look as well.

A TV show based on the game is also on its way but that wouldn't be affected by this delay in any way. Developer studio that worked on ship combat sequences of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are working on it for their past experience.

Although getting a long-anticipated game like Skull & Bones twice after reveal is mildly frustrating but seeing Ubisoft is not rushing out an unfinished product and prioritizing quality only shows their commendable dedication to fan-service.
