Vampyr TV Series Comes to Fox 21

Fox 21 Television Studios is to produce a supernatural television series based on period vampire drama Vampyr.

Released earlier this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, action role-playing game Vampyr from developer Dontnod Entertainment and publisher Focus Home Interactive was able to garner a mixed to average review alongside one million copies sold in just over two months. Currently, Fox 21 (Homeland, Sons of Anarchy) has been eyeing to produce a television adaptation of the game with McG (Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Terminator Salvation) and DJ2 Entertainment.

Aside from this new project, DJ2 Entertainment is also working on another video game adaptation of Life Is Strange from the same developer studio for television and co-producing upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie. CEO Oskar Guilbert of Dontnod Entertainment believes this is a great new way to unravel a supernatural world of Vampyr to a larger group of audience and reaching out to fans who loved it. We are waiting to see how well Fox 21 depicts the dark universe of the game.
