Alan Wake Remastered Leaked by Retailer

An accidental leaked listing on Taiwanese retailer website reveals Alan Wake Remastered coming to PlayStation 5.

Alan Wake Remastered Leaked by Retailer

An early database leak at Epic Games website have revealed in June 2021 that both PC version of Alan Wake Remastered and Final Fantasy VII Remake are coming to Epic Games Store soon, will possibly release as timed exclusive titles.

Most recently, an accidental leaked listing for PlayStation 5 version of Alan Wake Remastered is spotted at a Taiwanese retailer outlet online. Whether or not it will become available on other platforms hasn't been officially revealed yet.


Known leaker Wario64 shared a number of screenshots for Alan Wake Remastered being listed at retailer storefront Rakuten Taiwan. Adding fuel to the fire, industry insider Daniel Ahmad has claimed that it will be revealed by next week.

Before it was eventually removed, Alan Wake Remastered leaked listing had a set release date for October 5, 2021. Despite hints by Daniel and screenshots on Twitter, Remedy Entertainment has yet to announce a remaster of Alan Wake.


Twitter user Wario64 has posted several screenshots of Alan Wake Remastered at Taiwanese retailer outlet.



Further details may be revealed by developer Remedy Entertainment at upcoming PlayStation Showcase 2021 on September 9, 2021. If these claims are true, then Alan Wake will be arriving on PlayStation consoles for the very first time.

Alan Wake originally debuted on PC and Xbox 360 in 2010, before Remedy Entertainment have acquired publishing rights from Microsoft. After they signed a deal with Epic Games, there are reports of a possible sequel currently at works.
