The Ascent for PlayStation 4 and 5 Leaked by Rating

Debuted through Xbox Game Pass on launch day, 2021 action role-playing game The Ascent by indie developer Neon Giant and publisher Curve Digital was released exclusively for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms back in July.

A newly listed rating for PlayStation 4 and 5 version of The Ascent has recently been spotted at Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information website and therefore, it is safe to assume that an official announcement is coming shortly.

Launched as an exclusive to Windows and Xbox platforms, The Ascent developer has previously told fans to keep an eye on their social channels for updates while responding to a follower on Twitter about a possible PS5 version in October.

Neon Giant thanked fans for showing interest of having The Ascent on PS5 and only gave vague hints about its probability in future. Ratings for upcoming games usually show up at Taiwanese rating board website only months before launch.

Although there is no official confirmation yet, PlayStation version of The Ascent maybe handled by Korean studio H2 Interactive. Or, original publisher Curve Digital could take care of Western market while H2 takes care of Taiwanese release.

The Ascent is a co-op action shooter RPG set in a cyberpunk world and centers around collapse of titular mega-corporation. Factions start fighting each other for control, leading to chaos on streets and you play as a worker to restore order.
