Assassin's Creed Origins Coming to Xbox Game Pass

An update on official website suggests Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will join Xbox Game Pass early in June 2022.

Assassin's Creed Origins Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Only a month ago, French video game developer/publisher Ubisoft announced to bring more of their games to Xbox Game Pass library in coming months, starting with Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition very soon.

Ubisoft vaguely teased to add both of these abov1e mentioned titles within next two months but no window of release was revealed. However, a latest update to Game Pass website shows that both games are coming to XGP early next month.

According to a newly updated listing on "Coming Soon" tab of Xbox Game Pass official site, For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will arrive for PC on June 1, 2022, and Assassin's Creed Origins will join across cloud, console and PC on June 7, 2022.

After moving away from annual release cycle, Ubisoft Montréal took four years to release 2017 action role-playing game AC Origins. Players take on a journey with protagonist Bayek and take on a quest for vengeance in Ptolemaic-era Egypt.

A leaked listing on PlayStation Network database reveals that AC Origins will probably receive a next-gen patch between May 24 and May 26. Origins will join XGP via Ubisoft Connect and For Honor will get upgraded to Marching Fire Edition.

Assassin's Creed Origins coming to Xbox Game Pass is great news for members who own a new-generation of Xbox console since a next-gen upgrade may arrive next week for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, adding support for 60 FPS.
