Costume Quest 2 Free on Epic Games Store Now! Again!

Bringing back 15 days of free games program, Epic Games also launches annual Holiday Sale for this year on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store, inviting all users of PC platform to join in celebration and enjoy those giveaways.

Epic Store has revealed to give away free copies of 2014 role-playing game Costume Quest 2 by Double Fine Productions and Midnight City for today that anyone can claim now to own forever before they are replaced within next 24 hours.

In a sequel to 2010 original, siblings Reynold and Wren would join a group of friends collecting candy and various costumes. Together, they try to stop Dr. Orel White, who wishes nothing but to cast out celebrations of Halloween forever.

Picking up from events of the first game, Costume Quest sequel is a follow-up to previous story about saving Halloween festivity. Dev team has introduced several new combat mechanics like counters and double attacks to fight evil force.

Another returning freebie, Costume Quest 2 is usually sold for $14.99 only across various other platforms and $5.99 on Epic Store. Since it is free of cost right now, players can give it a try with no strings attached to it and have a good time.

Epic Games Store kicked-off their year-end promotion of daily freebies for 2022 with Bloons TD 6 and Horizon Chase Turbo, which are decent titles for casual gamers but doesn't cater to large audience that drives traffic to their storefront.
