Set within the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead series by renowned Image Comics writer Robert Kirkman (Haunt, Invincible), Saints & Sinners explores human stories in times of major crisis like a zombie apocalypse.

Players will have to deal more than swarm of undead hordes and continue struggling if they are to survive. Although it has nothing to do with Telltale Games, the game is a survival horror that follows choice-based storytelling.

Saints and Sinners VR game is set three years after initial outbreak took place and players will wander within New Orleans a powerful group called The Tower has control over everything and can be more threatening than a pack of zombies.

Entire campaign is around 15 hours worth of story, where you can come across other faction members and get into conflict. Your objective is to look for a lost bunker full of supplies and chop off some undead heads while you are at it.

Often times, VR games fail to give players a gameplay depth and many of them are simply an "immersive experience" through virtual reality but Skydance Interactive is trying their best to provide a proper gaming experience.

Having potential to be a pioneer in next generation of VR gaming, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners have yet to confirm their final release platforms aside from Oculus Rift, which hopefully will be revealed soon with a gameplay footage.

Doom Eternal, RAGE 2 and Wolfenstein Comes to Steam

Upcoming titles from Bethesda like Doom Eternal, RAGE 2 and Wolfenstein will be heading towards Steam.

In a heated war between Epic Games Store and Steam, developer/publisher Bethesda is apparently taking a stand against the former and is siding with the latter as they are about to bring some of their most anticipated titles to Valve's platform.

With a recent emergence of Epic Games' brand-new digital outlet, many game developers of the video game industry has sided with them by signing timed exclusives, leaving Steam behind with not much support and then, along came Bethesda.

In one of their recent Tweet, Bethesda has confirmed to release PC version of some of their upcoming games to Steam.

Ever since Epic Games have launched their very own distribution platforms last year, Valve Corporation is suddenly getting some tough competition and even lost some major AAA-titles to their rivals like Metro Exodus and The Division 2.

In case of the above-mentioned games, developer studios have pulled of their titles that were already announced and available for pre-order on Steam for some time and moved them over to Epic Games Store for a lucrative exclusive deal.

RELATED: RAGE 2: Wasteland Superhero Trailer

Many yet to be released titles like Control, Phoenix Point and The Outer Worlds will also are heading to their store as well. Bethesda decided to pick a side in this waging war of exclusivities and will release some of their renowned franchises to Steam.

Players will get their hands on games like Doom Eternal, RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Wolfenstein: Youngblood on their scheduled launch date now via Valve's distribution outlet, with possibility of more to join the march in future as well.

RELATED: Wolfenstein: Youngblood Story Trailer

Also joining to the bunch later in 2019 is Fallout 76, arguably one of the worst games of 2018 for a series of mishaps including a buggy release and controversies for delivering cheap nylon bags over West Tek canvas duffel bag with its Power Armor Edition.

Many players on PC also decided to opt out from buying the game because of having to play it on official Bethesda launcher that everyone hates. However, a Steam release might finally have some interested customer eventually purchase it after all.

RELATED: The Elder Scrolls Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Though Steam is no way a perfect digital outlet at all, PC gamers do have a soft spot for the platform because of their pro-consumer behaviors like having a friendly refund policy and a dedicated forum for customers to help them out in need.

Bethesda letting Valve host their games takes a new turn in ongoing storefront wars between them and Epic. Hopefully, other publishers would consider being more friendly to their customer base on PC in future and will not be greedy for exclusive deals.

Before getting into the business of running digital distribution platform for video games via Steam, Valve Corporation used to be the developer studio that Half-Life and Left 4 Dead series of games, none of which got a third installment in nearly a decade.

According to leaked images from online image sharing community site Imgur, Valve is currently working on and soon will unveil their very own VR headset that is completely separate from the HTC Vive gear they are supporting right now.

These leaked images found by UploadVR suggest that the Valve device is still in prototype stage but they are trying to make it equivalent to the HTC display of virtual reality technology that will offer a 135 degree field of view when finished.

They appear to have two cameras and integrated headphones included in it with possibility of adding new "Knuckles" motion controllers. The same source also hinted that this gadget could come out bundled with a brand-new Half-Life game from the company.

Apparently, this one is not the long-awaited Half-Life 3 but a prequel game that would feature the return of Dr. Gordon Freeman into fighting aliens once again. The fictional immersive world Valve built around this game was loved by fans but they decided to continue with Portal series instead.

Although they came up with two more episodes for Half-Life 2, a third game is still stuck at planning stage as it seems. So, we suggest you take any mystery news of a prequel or a brand-new sequel with grain of salt.

Back in March, President Gabe Newell of Valve have announced that the studio is returning back to video game development and they simply are not indicating their upcoming digital collectible card game Artifact by that. The company decided to start shipping games again after developing them.

For years, there were also rumors flying on live-actions movies being pitched for Half-Life and Portal franchise too. With their newly developed VR compatible software and hardware, Valve may come back to dominate the video game market once again.

However, this is not the first time enthusiast fans of the acclaimed first-person shooter series are hearing of a potential Half-Life game whether it is on VR or not. In 2016, players found the phrase "HLVR" in Dota 2 by digging deep inside the code and then their Steam VR app also had a mention of it as well.

We even heard about multiple projects on the fan-favorite franchise being pitched or maybe development but never saw a single one coming after Half-Life 2: Episode 2 in 2007. Let's just hope that the rumors turn out to be true this time.

More than half the year is over and PlayStation Plus has been treating their fans with some really good games. In September, players had fun with online multiplayer first-person shooter Destiny 2 and action-adventure hack and slash game God of War III Remastered.

By far, these two are the best ones PS Plus subscribers got their hands on throughout the entire year. We are nearly on the verge of October and Sony has released a new free games lineup for upcoming month.

Next up in our list is a futuristic sports game titled Laser League from developer Roll7 and publisher 505 Games. This one is released only months ago for major available platforms after initially debuting in 2017 via Early Access.

Players will start it as a fun experience to play with your reflexes and will quickly escalate into a struggle where strategic movement as a team is required. Even though it is not like one of those AAA-titles or anything like that, you can still enjoy it to have a decent time.

However, it won't be able to support PlayStation VR right now because; the VR Edition currently requires a high-end hardware spec on PC. To run it in an anticipated 90 FPS, you will need at least Nvidia GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU just to experience it on a minimum condition.

The VR update is not just a side story added as an extra bonus feature or a technical demo of some sort. This is very much a near similar version of the original game. After two years of working on the project by running experiments with camera tricks and trying to master head-tracking control, they made it a reality. Matthews explains, this endeavor was just to see their capability to work with virtual reality and to offer fans an extra bonus for free, rather than having a business purpose.

Senua’s dramatically complex psychosis is explored in a fascinating way while still retaining a third-person perspective in VR and not making players feel nauseated at the same time controlling the Pict warrior with head-turns. British developer studio Ninja Theory has done an amazing job in creating a visually stunning Triple-A game that is also artistically superior to many of its peers, while making this all possible with a small team and short budget.

Recently, company director Todd Howard is awarded as "Industry Legend" at the annual Gamelab event in Barcelona for his contribution on Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series. Afterwards in an interview with Geoff Keighley, he states their reason for regularly making ports for Skyrim, which is simply because fans keep buying the game over and over. He made a valid point with that comment because TESV remains to be the most popular among the franchise till date.

"Even now, the amount of people who play Skyrim seven years later; millions of people every month are playing that game. That's why we keep releasing it. If you want us to stop releasing it, stop buying it."

Although The Elder Scrolls VI has been teased during E3, it is still in early development phase and ain't coming anytime soon.

Reportedly, TESV: Skyrim is listed as one of the games on Steam with most concurrent number of players alongside titles like Civilization V, Payday 2 and Rocket League, amassing more than 50,000 players simultaneously. Todd wants the worlds of Bethesda to be sustainable as long as he is here and since the game still sells, releasing newer ports isn't that bad of an idea. Maybe gamers are simply worried thinking that re-releasing an old game probably burns out creative energy of developers.
