Darksiders Remastered Still On for Wii U

With the ever-growing market competition of gaming consoles, Nintendo’s Wii U is getting their butt handed to them by Xbox and PlayStation for a long time. With that on their tail already, the news announcement of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being the last game on Wii U really pretty much seals the deal for it. It is safe to assume that major developers are not going to spend their time making a Wii U version of their game anymore. However, there is still a bit of hope left for the console, which is coming in the form of Darksiders Warmastered Edition.

Darksiders Remastered for Wii U

THQ's third-person action-adventure game Darksiders (2010) became a major deal among the games when it came out and now, publisher THQ Nordic has officially confirmed that they are indeed developing a Wii U version of Darksiders Warmastered Edition, which will be available on the stores from May 23rd, 2017. So, that's only one more month worth of waiting and this Warmastered Edition for Wii U can be yours for only $19.99.

Running on 1080p display on 60 FPS, Darksiders Warmastered Edition has first landed on November 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo console however was lagged behind on their priority list and now that their turn has come, Wii U owners will have to suffice with 30 frames per second. The remaster of the sequel; Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition was developed by Gunfire Games and looks like, that may never see the light on Nintendo’s Wii U.
