Apex Legends Revealed and Out Now

Choose your Legend and experience a fight for survival in new battle royale of Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment launching today.

A few days ago YouTube channel TheQuartering picked the news of a brand-new Battle Royale game allegedly titled Apex Legends and set in the Titanfall universe from developer Respawn Entertainment is about to launch soon on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Many other news outlets who initially missed that later confirmed the news after eSports journalist Rod Breslau and Jason Schreier of Kotaku. Respawn has finally revealed and launched the game as a free-to-play title available from now on.

Like every other games from the same genre, it takes you to Apex Arena as one of the Legends against other competitors, who are all matched evenly in terms of abilities, firepower, speed and strength. Pick the one that suits your playstyle the most and good for your squad.

Even if you get a rocky start, you would eventually pick the one that is best fitted for you and always stay sharp so that your opponents don't get the drop on you. When in a three player squad, working together will keep you safe and lead to victory.

Just combining abilities of your teammates can give you an advantage over the enemy and save your own skin. Trying to go solo may come as a costly experience at times when you are stuck in the midst of rival teams with no way to escape.

Smart Comms are a great in-game system to keep in touch with your peers and pass critical information on the go. Even without plugging a microphone, players can ping useful items and locations on each other's screen during a match.

Whereas players were looking forward to Titanfall 3 from first-person shooter game series Titanfall by Respawn, they get a Battle Royale game and with that, it is easily presumable that second sequel is not coming out anytime soon.

Despite being set in the universe of Titanfall, there will not be any Titans to hop on, so expect no wall running and no slide hopping. However, Apex Legends will take place right after the events in Titanfall 2 if you are wondering.
