Borderlands 3 Announced

With an official developer trailer, Gearbox Software finally announces long-awaited game Borderlands 3 at PAX East.

So, developer Gearbox Software has teased a reveal for their next game at PAX East on Twitter earlier and many have guessed that it is going to be none other than long-anticipated action role-playing title Borderlands 3 for all the obvious reasons.

Then came a teaser trailer titled "Mask of Mayhem" that gave away existence of upcoming Borderlands game and finally, they ended up officially announcing what everyone was hoping for with a brief look gameplay footage in same old cel-shaded graphics.

We noticed many recurring features common to the known franchise where four player ragtag squad of Vault Hunters minding their own business among big mechs running rampant within a huge playing field for shooting each other out.

Familiar faces like Brick, Ellie, Lilith, Marcus, Maya, Mordecai and Tiny Tina are shown briefly, there were four new characters that are possibly going to take lead. Each of these Vault Hunters displays their amazingly unique abilities in battlefield.

Whether or not they are all back in planet Pandora, there are giant robots and hideous mutant creatures wandering around desert wastelands cities, and swam areas to get shot. Two new villains are introduced as well without given any details on them.

Borderlands has a tradition of showering players with tons of loot mostly in forms of weapons and developers have included a ridiculous number of guns for the next chapter, which is more than one billion and some of them even have legs!

A remastered version of the original game from 2009 titled Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition is coming next week for players on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This one will feature all four DLC packs alongside new cosmetic items and weapons.

Although Gearbox Software has yet to confirm fans of a possible release date or available platforms, publisher 2K Games have promised to reveal more Borderlands 3 information on April 3, 2019, which is only a week away from now.
