Death Stranding Launch Trailer

An insane, spoiler-filled official launch trailer for upcoming strand game Death Stranding is released.

Roughly a week or so to release worldwide on November 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4, upcoming action game Death Stranding from developer Kojima Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment delivers its last strand.

A few days ago, game director Hideo Kojima invited fans to witness official launch trailer for his latest open-world adventure and like each of his past DS videos, it has left a lot of weird questions in our mind than giving any straight answers.

Opening scene shows a large door to some sort of secret facility is being breached and Cliff is seen trying to save his Bridge Baby. Despite his best efforts, he eventually is discovered and fought till his last moment against all odds.

He probably was working on a top-secret project regarding teleportation that was going to be hijacked either by government or any private organization. In a desperate attempt to save his work, he must have accidentally accessed Hades.

It is highly likely, that opening of a portal to an alternate dimension has lead otherworldly beings known as "Beached Things" into this world, ushering an extinction-level that has decimated life and forcing society to collapse.

In an attempt to reconnect United Cities of America under a single Chiral Network, Amelie and her organization Bridges were working. She was taken hostage by "Homo Demons" and deliveryman Sam Porter Bridges is tasked to bring her back.

Sam primarily comes to conflict with their leader Higgs and eventually stands opposing Cliff at one point. While dealing with human enemies like members of MULE, he befriends a survivor named Fragile who would become a great ally.

In a quick roll, almost all of main characters are seen shedding tears at some point of their lives in-game. Aside from usual BTs, a flying whale-like creature called Extinction entity is shown dropping corpses covered in black liquid as it flies by.

The game features a prominent cast of Hollywood actors like Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) and Troy Baker (Mortal Kombat X, Resident Evil 6) in lead roles.

Death Stranding is all set to arrive on PS4 next month and is no longer a console exclusive title since Kojima Productions recently announced to release it for PC platform on early 2020, teaming up with publisher 505 Games.
