New Jedi: Fallen Order trailer opens up with Padawan Cal Kestis crossing paths with Ninth Sister, an Inquisitor member trained by Darth Vader. She presents an imminent threat to him and attacks using her double-bladed red lightsaber.

Then Cal is shown to battle shock troopers, taking fire from AT-AT walkers, doing traversal using wires and some hyperspace jumping. More in-game footage shows previously revealed scenes with Second Sister presented in a new light.

Fallen Order takes place following a galaxy-wide Jedi purge initiated by "Order 66" during events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and few remaining survivors who ran from Galactic Empire were being hunted down.

After years of hiding in shadows, Cal was ousted to Empire when he is caught saving his friend using the Force and became a target for Second Sister. He found a new ally in Cere Junda, who becomes a mentor figure to him and guides him through.

Despite many players are still hesitant to trust EA because of their past attempt to include loot boxes and pay-to-win mechanics in Star Wars Battlefront II back in 2017, Respawn has worked really hard to deliver a great Star Wars game for fans.

Electronic Arts can finally win over fans with release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order next month as it has every potential to become a great single-player experience that players has been asking for years, minus any shoddy micro-transactions.
