Instead of starting his journey by meeting with rebel extremist Saw Gerrera (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), we see protagonist Cal Kestis emerging from a swamp-like location of Kashyyyk after his buddy droid BD-1 sweeps their surrounding for trouble.

He manages to climb his way up on top of an AT-AT walker and after its Stormtrooper guard is blown out, he gets into the combat vehicle. Inside he peeps on a few guards that he dispatched shortly using The Force and his lightsaber.

He sneaks into main cockpit and took control after knocking the pilots unconscious and then we see some vehicle combat mechanics in action. Cal then blasts off another AT-AT by surprise and rain on heavy fire on nearby Imperial establishment.

He eventually met Saw Gerrera after his vehicle crashes and a cut-scene starts where they exchange about why they are on Kashyyyk. Cal came looking for Wookiee general Tarfful and Saw is here to disrupt supply runs of The Empire.

Soon, his mentor Cere Junda and companion Greez Dritus joins them but Saw is skeptical about his claim of being a Jedi. However, they proceed on how to rescue a group of slave Wookiees from that Imperial refinery and campaign is resumed.

Looking for a power source, he came across a giant spider-like creature and a couple of Flame Beetles that was been dealt with. It was from here when we step into E3 2019 demo footage and rest of it just continues as shown earlier.

Of course any fans can't help but notice some close similarities gameplay drawn from games like Shadow of the Colossus and Uncharted at times but all are hoping that it somehow works and not become another generic title for cheap cash grab.
