Nintendo Switch Getting More 3DS Games

Nintendo will bring more 3DS games from popular franchises to showcase growing appeal of Nintendo Switch Lite.

Back in September, Japanese video game company Nintendo launched Nintendo Switch Lite as a revision for Nintendo Switch console that is focused on handheld gaming and sold over 2 million units within 10 days of release.

Seeing this amazing response from consumers, Nintendo has decided to bring more franchise of games from Nintendo 3DS platform to their latest portable-only system to increase its overall appeal to a wider group of audience.

This comes as great news for Switch Lite and regular Switch owners since they both share a same software library. Whatever runs on Lite also works on original Switch and therefore, all players gets to play more titles on the system.

Apparently, more of Switch Lite consoles were sold in U.S. compared to units shipped for Japan, which typically is the other way around when it comes to handhelds and this is a great indication of a new potential market to capitalize.
