Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost 2020 Event Live Now

Bungie brings back Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost limited time event to celebrate Halloween this year.

Ahead of Beyond Light DLC expansion release, developer/publisher Bungie invites all Guardians to join free-to-play online multiplayer first-person shooter Destiny 2 for one last major event on Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

To celebrate annual Halloween festival this year, Bungie decides to be a little spooky and bring back Festival of the Lost. You can take part in ongoing free event that will run from October 6 to November 3, 2020 and unlock new cosmetics.

Halloween event will see everyone's favorite Eva Levante to return who is also known as "Space Grandma".  She will open up Haunted Forest once again for you to head over to Tangled Shore and talk to Spider before getting into activities.

Once you finish up a Haunted Forest run, he might let you open some treasure chests for your kind assistance. Try your luck of being rewarded Braytech Werewolf or Horror Story auto rifles that now comes with new perk combinations.

You will need to complete at least one Crucible, Gambit or Strike match in-game to gather some Cipher Decoder. These resources may also come from other sources and you will require 45 of them to unlock all festive rewards of Halloween.

Destiny 2 annual Halloween event usually goes along with major story expansions but will come with Season of Arrivals this year. Festival of the Lost started sooner and will end early in 2020 due to Beyond Light getting delayed unexpectedly.

Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost will have everyone at the Tower remembering legacies of many fallen Guardians, including Cayde-6. Though threat of Darkness is currently looming over, you can take some time off to celebrate regardless.
