It has been rough for fans of Judgment and Yakuza series due to publisher Sega having trouble with Johnny & Associates talent agency over Steam release, which could eventually lead to an end for fan-favorite Yakuza spin-off series.
Last week, developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new Lost Judgment trailer announcing its English voice cast. Today, they reveal details regarding pre-order options and post-launch roadmap ahead of release later this month.
Players who pre-order any version of Lost Judgment will get their hands on Quick-Start Support pack as a bonus at launch. It includes some useful health items, Extract recipes for combat buffs and Wayfarer's Lucky Cat for a great display.
For early purchasing of Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate Editions, you will receive a Detective Essentials pack, which includes additional three colors for your favorite detective doggo and a few retro games from Sega's classic catalog.
Moreover, you get a futuristic hoverboard to show-off your moves in a new outdoor skate park. There are three new additional girlfriends to date and Gauntlet challenge mode will have you facing up against Shin Amon as an opponent.
Digital Deluxe and Digital Ultimate Editions pre-order bonus also adds School Stories expansion pack, arriving on October 26, 2021. A number of activities, outfits and bike gang motorcycle are introduced along with school club story arcs.
Pre-ordering a copy of Digital Ultimate Edition comes bundled with "The Kaito Files" standalone story expansion. In approximately 10 hours worth of new story content, Masaharu Kaito will be a playable character, releasing on spring 2022.
Series fans who were worried over recent development regarding series future will be slightly relieved by newly announced The Kaito Files DLC but whether or not it's a prequel or a follow-up game to Lost Judgment is yet to be revealed.

Kaito has been a valued ally for series protagonist Takayuki Yagami and featuring him in a solo adventure could be Sega's way to avoid a legal dispute with J&A talent agency as they continue Yakuza spin-off to a fully different direction.
Lost Judgment will be releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, on September 24, 2021. Fans who pre-order Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate Editions will also receive 3 days of Early Access before launch.
