Ubisoft released a new R6 Siege video detailing gameplay mechanics for new Operators and their gadget features.

A member of Danish Jægerkorpset Corps, Nøkk is a new Attacker and a mysterious persona to even Team Rainbow. She carries an FMG-9 and SIX12-SD while uses a high-tech HEL Presence Reduction to become invisible to be detected by her enemies.

This medium-speed, medium-armor Rainbow attacker agent is good at infiltration and stealth like a ghost. However, her gadget might glitch but won't give away her position if she does nothing except moving on a normal or slower pace.

Then there is a dapper new defender from American Secret Service named Warden, who at first glance may remind you of Walter White from Breaking Bad. His primary weapon of choice is an M590A1 shotgun and an MPX submachine gun as a strong anchor.

Warden uses a pair of Glance Smart Glasses to remain impervious to flashes and see through smokes. A high-armor, low-speed Operator, he is highly effective against Blitz, Capitão, Glaz and Ying but have to wary of Thatcher and IQ for their gadget-disabling abilities.

Developers at Ubisoft has also reworked existing Kafe Dostoyevsky map to suit it better for competitive play. First floor of the café is now redesigned with a remodeled kitchen and second floor got new bomb sites, plus received other tweaks.

Season Pass owners for Year 4 of Rainbow Six Siege would have two new Operators, Nøkk and Warden already unlocked at launch on their platforms and others can purchase them only after seven days using their in-game R6 credits.

Skull & Bones Delayed to 2020

Once again, Ubisoft has delayed their upcoming pirate adventure game Skull & Bones to 2020 and skipping its E3 2019 showcase.

Upcoming anticipated open-world action game Skull & Bones from developer/publisher Ubisoft was announced back at E3 2017 with an initial launch window of 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only to be delayed to 2019 last year.

However, that date is now being delayed once again and will only come out after their current fiscal year will end in March 2020. The pirate adventure will not show up at E3 2019 next month and will be released on spring next year.

Ubisoft made a statement saying that it is very common for newer IPs to take more time in development phase because of creative vision and newer ideas and in May 2018, developers asked for more time to deliver an engaging experience.

According to their recent earnings report, ongoing publishing plans for SNB suggests that it may eventually arrive sometime around April 2020. Since it was pushed back to improve quality, we can only hope that it was for the best reasons.

A video featuring producer Karl Luhe addressing this delay was posted lately by Skull & Bones official Twitter account. He talks about where they are now in terms of development and offers some behind-the-scenes look as well.

A TV show based on the game is also on its way but that wouldn't be affected by this delay in any way. Developer studio that worked on ship combat sequences of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are working on it for their past experience.

Although getting a long-anticipated game like Skull & Bones twice after reveal is mildly frustrating but seeing Ubisoft is not rushing out an unfinished product and prioritizing quality only shows their commendable dedication to fan-service.

New Ghost Recon: Breakpoint story trailer for from Ubisoft reveals how Skell Technology became a global threat.

Getting leaked before making an official reveal, upcoming online tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint from developer/publisher Ubisoft will debut on October 4, 2019 as a sequel to Ghost Recon: Wildlands for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Players already have some look at what they are getting into with announcement trailer and gameplay footage on a live-stream last week. Now, another new clip is released today to provide more story context for Breakpoint.

Following is a trailer showcasing how technology going awry and threatening lives have paved a way for GRB.

The video opens up with a narration over a rendition of mythical creature golem and how it was an early representation for artificial intelligence back in 500 BC, which was originally designed by its creators to serve and protect.

Fast forward to last two decades and in a not-so-far future, technology has advanced to the point of creating driver-less cars and inventor Jake Skell has helped shaped that future with his Skell Technology by turning many myths into reality.

RELATED: Rainbow Six Siege Reverse Friendly Fire Update

He moved further to come up with lethal drones on 2001 that helped save many U.S. lives during war in Afghanistan. Establishing headquarter in Aurora Island, they were successful in making an autonomous system in recent years.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Skell technology drones were used to kill a political candidate and media sees them as a global threat now. All contact is lost with Aurora, leading Ghost Recon team to investigate their radio silence.

Although actor Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Walking Dead) is roped in to play villain in Breakpoint after being introduced through an operation update for Wildlands, he was nowhere to be seen within the trailer above but hoping to see him in future.

Ubisoft has decided to make PC version of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint skip Steam and making it an Epic Games Store-exclusive title, as usual to their stance with The Division 2 and pre-order for Gold, Ultimate or Collector's Editions are already available up there.

Not only has he gone rogue but he is leading a group of ex-Ghosts who call themselves Wolves, now under employment of Skell Technology. Armed with effective killing machines, they have cut all ties to outside world and hunting Ghosts down.

Al launch, the game will let you choose from four different classes with specific abilities and you can swap between them at your will. Breakpoint will release more classes over time and plans on to offer new major expansions after each four months.

Designed for a story-driven experience for four players, GRB challenges your survival skills in a harsh terrain of high stakes and limited resources. It introduces the new Bivouac system, which can be unlocked throughout the map and serves as camps.

Bivouac safe zones allow you to treat injuries and customize loadout or even trade items with fellow fighters in your camp. Expect more limited time crossover events like what Ubisoft had in past with Predator and Splinter Cell in Wildlands.

Rainbow Six Siege Reverse Friendly Fire Update

Ubisoft developers are rolling out Reverse Friendly Fire update for Rainbow Six Siege to punish team-killers.

Competitive online tactical shooter video games like Rainbow Six Siege suffer heavily from a never ending issue of grieving players who often abuses its gameplay mechanic of friendly fire to give their teammates a hard time.

In a latest update for R6S, developer/publisher Ubisoft is introducing Reverse Friendly Fire system to have player's weapon turn back at them for those who kill their teammates to grief or to troll as a deserving punishment.

To keep up the high stakes gameplay of R6Siege and fight against team killing, RFF is implemented. Starting with Thursday's patch, Reverse Friendly Fire system will be online now that developers have tried it on test servers for past two months.

Once it goes live, players can choose to activate reflecting bullets for a match so whenever any teammates try to fire shots at a member of their own team, it will be redirected back at them as an immediate karma for their misbehavior.

RELATED: Rainbow Six Siege Instant Bans for Toxicity

RFF will also apply for thrown unique gadgets like drones and operator cams but instead of player it belongs to, damage will inflict upon the device itself. Explosives however, will do damage under the system except for a few select items.

Depending on pending feedback from R6S community, these features may change and act differently in future. Even explosives doing damage to teammates can undergo some change on upcoming season of Siege.

Last year, developers at Ubisoft placed strict moderation system for R6S in an attempt to instantly ban anyone engaging in slurs and toxicity. Other than booting them from a match, friendly fire flag seems to be a much efficient way.

Considered as one of the best multiplayer games out there, Rainbow Six Siege is available to play PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Hopefully, Reverse Friendly Fire update will let players have a better experience tacklinng grieving team members.

Meet mysterious Ghost team leader, Cole D. Walker for new story content in free Operation Oracle update of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Starting from May 2, they are releasing free story content Operation Oracle that features two new missions to team-based stealth shooter game Ghost Recon: Wildlands for players to enjoy on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Assassin's Creed Unity Positively Review-Bombed on Steam

Steam community review-bombed Assassin's Creed Unity to praise its giveaway by Ubisoft last week.

Although action-adventure game Assassin's Creed Unity from developer/publisher Ubisoft came out in 2014 and not has been a trending title for a while, it suddenly became a topic for discussion for gamers worldwide lately.

After iconic cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris caught fire on April 15, the French video game studio donated €500,000 for its restoration and offered free copies of AC Unity, which led to fans positively review bombing it on Steam.

Last week, Ubisoft offered PC version of the game for free so that people can virtually explore and admire this 856 year-old historic Cathedral. Gamers become nostalgic going back to a French Revolution-era Paris and to re-discover this prominent sight.

It generated a surge of complimentary reviews all of a sudden by Steam community on its Store page and for a game that previously had a "mixed" status, has now garnered a "very positive" reputation after recent wave of reviews came in.

AC Unity players are expressing gratitude for allowing them an opportunity to revisit and appreciate what Notre-Dame was and one even joked that they will need to burn down a pyramid to get Assassin's Creed Origins for free.

Ubisoft took a break from the franchise after a rocky launch of Assassin's Creed Unity back in 2015 but as it seems, players have forgiven them for that now and surprisingly, Steam has not even flagged it for off-topic review activities either.

To stand in solidarity for the fire ravaged iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris, Ubisoft is giving away Assassins Creed Unity for free on Uplay.

Even if you don't keep up much with international news, you may have heard about the devastating fire at iconic Notre-Dame cathedral of Paris on this Monday, April 15 that has moved everyone around the world in shock.

To stand in solidarity with everyone affected by it, French video game developer/publisher Ubisoft has announced to donate €500,000 for its restoration work and offering free copies of Assassin's Creed Unity on PC via Uplay, available until April 25.

Set during French Revolution era of a fictional Paris, AC Unity focuses efforts of protagonist Arno Victor Dorian in exposing forces behind wheels of Revolution and its gameplay follows a stealth based combat system in an open-world.

Entire set pieces of this installment are from a time when cathedral of Notre-Dame was vandalized and players are to enter the central church chasing Templar Sivert at one point, which remains a very notable part of the game.

While designing the in-game version of this renowned monumental piece, senior level artist Caroline Miousse said in a 2014 interview that they went through a lot of blueprints and Assassin's Creed historian Maxime Durand helped of course.

Although she never visited it before working on the project back then, she looked at a lot of references and talked to people to know how it's like to be there. However, the one you will see in AC Unity is not the one from French Revolution.

Much like Eiffel tower, Notre-Dame de Paris is an iconic part of the city skyline that is quite hard to miss because of a massive spire aside from its two towers and has gone through an extraordinary recreation process during development of Unity.

Rebuilt after 18th century with wood, it suffered the most during recent fire and Miousse actually changed it a bit to make it look cool. Whenever players get to climb on it, they have a chance to see Paris from very top and it is an amazing view.

Entire world has already pledged over $900 million collectively for reconstruction of the 800 years old historic Cathedral with more coming in every day and French government has planned on rebuilding it within next few years.

Already donating an amount to the cause, Ubisoft is doing their part as well by inviting players to appreciate its glory with a free giveaway of Assassin's Creed Unity, which obviously is the possible best way of paying homage to Notre-Dame in video games.
