PlayStation State of Play March 2019

PlayStation has broadcasted their first-ever State of Play 2019 stream with announcement for every major upcoming PS4 releases.

While working on their next PlayStation console, Sony was steadily preparing for something similar to Nintendo Direct online presentation and perhaps that is one of the reasons for them announcing not to attend the E3 2019 convention earlier.

They stated that they are exploring new ways to engage to their community and only a few days ago, Sony made a surprise announcement for State of Play live-stream to showcase new reveal, gameplay and trailers for upcoming titles.

Marvel's Iron Man VR | Announced




Following their immense success of Marvel's Spider-Man from last year, Sony recently focused their efforts to bring another classic comic-book hero Tony Stark to their consoles for an ultimate Iron Man VR fantasy through PS VR headset.

Players are in to experience some iconic Golden Avenger action through flying and shooting down enemies using repulsor beams in upcoming Marvel's Iron Man VR by developer Camouflaj, in collaboration with Marvel Games and Worldwide Studios.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled | PS4-Exclusive Content




2019 marks the 20th anniversary for 1999 kart racing game Crash Team Racing and though it is already getting remastered, developer Beenox came up with a plan to provide more nostalgia factor for veteran players to re-live their old memories.

CTR: Nitro Fueled will receive retro-styled treatment with karts and skins designed to give a 90's era look. Fans would definitely love these PS4-exclusive contents that are going back to old school days with low polygonal designs yet maintaining authenticity.

No Man's Sky | PlayStation VR




Adding multiplayer support to action-adventure survival game No Man's Sky was a next step towards an evolutionary phase by developer/publisher Hello Games and now they are taking another leap towards virtual reality with upcoming Beyond update.

Entire NMS will get full VR support when their next free update launches this summer to kick-start the next big chapter of the sci-fi game. Scaling around unknown planetary territory would never be such dramatic when you play it with friends.

ReadySet Heroes | Announced

A sci-fi adventure quest of 2026 set in space, Observation follows a narrative thriller where players act as an artificial intelligence system on titular low orbit space station, working alongside a surviving crew member to uncover a mystery.

Contrary to what you immediately thought of, the woman shown in the trailer above named Dr. Emma Fisher is who you are supposed to work with to bring back your systems online and finding out what actually happened to other crews on board.

Upcoming PlayStation VR Games for 2019




By March 2019, over 4.2 million PS VR gadgets have been sold worldwide and a roadmap to deliver steady supply of games for those devices is a priority now. So, a slew of titles heading to those systems this spring and summer were highlighted on the broadcast.

We are looking at a list full of games like Everybody's Golf VR, Falcon Age, Ghost Giant, Golem, Jupiter & Mars, Luna, Mini-Mech Mayhem, Skyworld, Table of Tales, Trover Saves the Universe and Vacation Simulator from many different genres.

Throughout the entire presentation, fans have surely felt the absence of any updates on The Last of Us Part II from developer Naughty Dog. Perhaps, they would do this often and we may get some fresh scoop on this upcoming anticipated PS4 title.

State of Play 2019 announcements brought a lot of great news for PlayStation fans that they can look up to and considering their first-ever broadcast; Sony did pretty well by staying right on point with each game and keeping up.
