NetherRealm released an official trailer to highlight gameplay features of Kombat Pack 2 DLC fighter Rain.

Opening a portal into Outworld, Edenian demigod Rain comes looking for Kotal Kahn and asks where his minions are. Kotal simply states that he doesn't require assistance from either Ermac or Reptile to face off against Prince of Edenia.

Without further ado, Rain starts unleashing a series of strikes on Kotal Kahn and then stabs him in the back with a katar. He continues raining on more watery abilities, powerful tsunami waves and even summoning lightning bolts from sky.

While taking on former ruler of Outworld, he takes turns on Shao Kahn and Sindel with a mix of kicks and various water-based attacks. Neither of them were any match for his immense power and barrage of assaults, leading to their defeat.

Rain hits him with Krushing Blows, which is followed by a brutal Fatality move where an aquatic buzz saw cuts Kotal Kahn in half before sending off his entire upper torso flying up, only leaving his pieces on ground and eyes in a water ball.
