Xbox Live Gold Free Games for July 2023 Revealed

Ahead of next month, Microsoft announces latest lineup of free Games With Gold for members of Xbox Live Gold that will shortly become available to download and play across Xbox family of current and last-generation console systems.

Starting from July 1, survival horror game Darkwood by developer/publisher Acid Wizard Studio joins Games With Gold, leaving on July 31. When the Past Was Around comes to Xbox Live Gold on July 16 and remains until August 15, 2023.

Set in late 1980s, Darkwood is played from top-down perspective that relies on exploration and scavenging through a semi-open world. Players will unlock new areas as they progress and may lead to many branches based on your choice.
