Cancelled Arkham Knight Sequel Game Scrapped Batman Concept Art Revealed

Latest scrapped concept art from a cancelled Batman: Arkham Knight sequel reveals futuristic version of Batman.

Upon cancelling several projects following release of Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive finally settled working on Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, revealed at DC Fandome.

After a spectacular reveal of scrapped design for villainous King Shark earlier, concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has recently shared a batch of futuristic Batman art from an alleged sequel of Arkham Knight game that got cancelled.

Scrapped concept art of King Shark from a cancelled Batman game offers a terrifying sight to DC Comics villain.

Breaking a long-hiatus after release of Batman: Arkham Knight back in 2015, a long-anticipated Batman game titled Gotham Knights was recently announced during DC FanDome digital event, which takes place out of Arkhamverse canon.

Before they even finalized Gotham Knights, there have been one or two Batman projects that got cancelled and a scrapped concept art from one of these games reveals a terrifying look of DC Comics villain King Shark on social media.

Rocksteady reveals Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League with a brand-new trailer at DC FanDome event.

After releasing Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, developer Rocksteady Studios has been on a long-hiatus and recently confirmed working on a Suicide Squad game, in association with publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

In a recent panel at DC FanDome digital event, upcoming action-adventure game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been revealed for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with a new trailer and a release window set for 2022.

Suicide Squad Game Reveal Date

Rocksteady to officially reveal their next game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at DC FanDome event.

Nearly a week ago, developer Rocksteady Studios teased working on a new Suicide Squad game with a cryptic image of Superman that has recently been revealed as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, in association with WB Games.

Rocksteady will do a full reveal on August 22, 5 PM PT/8 PM EDT at DC FanDome digital event that is expected to take about 20 minutes, hosted by Canadian voice actor Will Arnett (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Lego Batman Movie).

Rocksteady Studios teases upcoming Suicide Squad game ahead of DC Fandom event on August 22, 2020.

Back in June, there has been a rumor of Rocksteady Studios was reportedly working on a brand-new Suicide Squad game from a series of leaked domain names and believed to be revealed at upcoming DC Fandom event in August 2020.

Just today, Rocksteady released a new teaser image of Superman and logo for their newest Suicide Squad game on Twitter, with a brief tagline to reveal more information about the ongoing project at DC Fandom on August 22, 2020.

According to rumors, Warner Bros. has developed and cancelled two open-world Superman games from 2013.

In a day and age of superhero comics, movies and TV shows, only a few renowned characters among many has made a booming transition into popular video games like Batman: Arkham series and Marvel's Spider-Man.

According to industry insider James Sigfield, Warner Bros. has been trying to make an open-world Superman game since 2013 by taking pitches from many parties and has cancelled two of them in past six years period.
