Microsoft reveals release date for upcoming zombie survival game State of Decay 2, arriving on May 22.
At long last, developer Undead Labs and publisher Microsoft Studios announced an official release date for upcoming survival horror game State of Decay 2, scheduled to arrive on May 22, 2018 for Windows PC and Xbox One.
A sequel to 2013 zombie survival game State of Decay for Xbox 360, the game was revealed back at E3 2016. Available on Microsoft gaming platforms via Xbox Play Anywhere program, SoD2 comes at a pretty cheap price as well.

State of Decay 2 Standard Edition cost you $29.99 only you can purchase its Ultimate Edition for just $49.99. Pricing might be a different to some regions through as in Australia, Standard Edition is priced $49.95 and Ultimate Edition is $69.95.
You can get 4 days Early Access into zombie-killing action on May 18 by purchasing SoD2 Ultimate Edition. It comes with two DLC expansions; Independence Pack and Daybreak Pack on launch, release dates for which will be revealed later.

Players buying Ultimate Edition will also receive a download token for console version of State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition, which is a great starting point for State of Decay post-apocalyptic world through series' first game.
Aside from all special edition perks, Microsoft will offer pre-order bonuses both editions that are yet to be revealed. Hopefully, players will get their hands on some sort of exclusive in-game items, early content access, skins or weapons.
