State of Decay 2 Independence Pack DLC

To celebrate an immense success upon debut and amassing 3 million survivors, State of Decay 2’s first DLC Independence Pack is out now!

Ahead of 4th of July holiday, Undead Labs and Microsoft Studios are in a mood for celebrating a community that has 3 million players joined for their open world zombie survival game State of Decay 2 within a month of its release on May 22, 2018. Also, it became the best-selling game of May, which is a great accomplishment for sure. To celebrate, they decided to release the first DLC Independence Pack to extend your fun experience of zombie-killing in this post-apocalyptic world.

Now you can take on your neighboring undead hordes in new different styles and colorful ways, so that you can declare your independence from their tyrannical reign. Whether you are an expert in close combats or have a knack for blowing up stuffs, this expansion got you covered. So, you can go sneaky with close-ranged weapons or start blasting off those flesh eating bastards in fiery explosions if you like. In case you want to express your festive colors, you will find stacks of fireworks.

Available for purchase right now on PC and Xbox One to get "patriotic" items and gear, Independence Pack will cost you only $4.99. Primary feature of this post-launch content is three Independence Day-themed vehicle; Burninator, Meatwagon and Pyrohawk. Two long-range weapons; Pyro Launcher and Starshank Launcher are added with three additional melee weapons; BBQ Fork, Grillmeister and The Freedom Ringer. These items of mass zombie horde destruction promise tons of fun.

Since the developers were in a fun vibe, they even dressed up the zeds from the pack for this occasion. A Revolutionary War-themed zombie is introduced, whom you might come across during your supply run and you are more than welcome to teach him a lesson of history with the fireworks at your disposal. I mean, what could be more patriotic in a world taken over by zombies, to fight for a small-town of America and regularly scavenge for a community where you belong?
