DARQ: Complete Edition and Free Next-Gen Upgrade Revealed

Unfold Games announces DARQ: Complete Edition for PC and major console platforms, next-gen version coming soon.

An indie darling of 2019, puzzle platformer title DARQ from developer/publisher Unfold Games received acclaim for its psychological horror themes and won many accolades following release on PC platform via GOG and Steam.

Today, Unfold Games have announced to launch DARQ: Complete Edition for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 4, 2020, collecting base game and its two DLCs; The Tower and The Crypt, which is yet to come out soon.

You play as a young boy named Lloyd, who becomes a prisoner of his own dream and it quickly turns into a nightmare. He starts exploring through the darkest depths of his mind in an effort to finally wake up but fails miserably.

Lloyd eventually learns to survive against terrifying creatures by starting to bend laws of physics and manipulating the dream world. Often times, he will rely on stealth to avoid being caught or bend reality of his subconscious mind.


An official launch trailer for DARQ: Complete Edition has been revealed recently to announce its release date.





As promised by Unfold Games, players who already own a copy on PC will receive free copies of Crypt DLC on release. All console versions are currently planned to get a physical edition, which becomes available by early next year.

DARQ: Complete Edition will see release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in early 2021. Players who purchase a copy on PS4 or XB1 will receive free upgrade to next-gen console version when they come out.
