Soul Hackers 2 Collector's Edition Announced, PC Specs Revealed

Making a long-awaited return to series after 25 years, upcoming role-playing game Soul Hackers 2 by developer/publisher Atlus is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S simultaneously on August 26, 2022.

Even though confirmed for major platforms, Soul Hackers sequel is currently skipping Nintendo Switch release. Only a few months ahead of release, Atlus announces its Collector's Editions for fans and also reveals PC system requirements.

Soul Hackers 2 is currently available to pre-order digitally across PC via Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Standard Edition is priced at $59.99 only, which will only include base game but no additional content or DLC expansion packs.

Digital Deluxe Edition will cost you $69.99 for main game and a bonus DLC story arc into a single package. Digital Premium Edition features Soul Hackers 2 base game, every bonus goodies and DLC packs for a price of $89.99 in every outlet.

Pre-order bonus for any and all editions/versions will be Persona 5: Phantom Thieves-exclusive outfit pack. Soul Hackers 2 Collector's Edition will become available to purchase for a whopping $200, starting from June 10, 2022 at 10 AM PT.

It includes Soul Hackers 2 full game in a physical edition disc, a steelbook case, a 3" Ai-ho figure, Mimi Plushie, themed pin collection, USB soundtracks, Saizo's shark key-chain and a number of character art cards packed in a Collector's Box.

Following recent Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase, minimum and recommended PC specs for Soul Hackers 2 were confirmed on Steam. Players would require at least Windows 10 operating system, 8 GB RAM with DirectX 11 on every PC.

You must have Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTS450 or AMD Radeon HD 5770 and around 22 GB free space at least to run the game at 30 FPS in 1080p resolution with 80% render scale on low setting.

For higher performance, Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 and 30 GB available space is required for running it at 60 FPS in 1080p resolution with high settings, 100% render scale.

Soul Hackers 2 apparently has very modest requirements compared to other recent JRPGs like Elden Ring and Tales of Arise, giving you an idea of what specifications a potential PC version of Persona 5 or any other Atlus game may look like.
