Xbox Will Reportedly Have Developer_Direct Showcase in January

Other than upcoming Xbox-exclusives like Redfall and highly-anticipated Starfield, there is not a lot of information regarding Xbox games for 2023 and fans are impatiently waiting for anything new to be announced by Microsoft right now.

Although a lot of rumors are running wild, Xbox first-party studios are rarely sharing any update of their ongoing projects. However, a latest insider report claims that Xbox will reportedly have a Developer_Direct showcase later in January.

According to Windows Central, a new Xbox showcase called Developer_Direct will premiere on January 25, 12:00 PM PDT/3:00 AM EDT. It will largely focus on games from Bethesda and Xbox but will completely skip over Starfield though.

Developer_Direct is likely to feature Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, Redfall and content from ZeniMax Online Studios. Even though not on scale of E3-style event, gameplay deep dives of upcoming Xbox-exclusives will be revealed.

Fans were really skeptical about Microsoft's future plans going into 2023, particularly after they skipped showing anything during The Game Awards 2022 event but Xbox marketing boss Aaron Greenberg promised an exciting 2023 for fans.

Redfall is likely to release in May 2023 while Starfield has also reassured their release plans, set for first half of this year. Forza Motorsport is currently scheduled to launch later this spring and Minecraft Legends will also be debuting soon.
