The Last of Us Part 2 Survivor Difficulty Will Be a Brutal Experience

Despite a massive story leak earlier, developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment are focused to deliver an unforgettable gameplay experience through upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive The Last of Us Part II.

When playing on regular difficulty levels, players will have a list of choices for taking down an enemy or avoid killing them altogether. In Survivor mode, you barely get a chance to choose whether to pick melee weapons or use firearms.

A previous gameplay demo had a statement from developer team that players are not required to kill guard dogs to make progress but "Survivor" setting most likely will force you to choose between you or a rabid canine after your life.

In her playthrough section in Seattle, protagonist Ellie would come across a number of WLF members looking for her. You can either employ stealth or engage in combat to find out that enemy AI will reach much faster than typical.

Ellie has now learned how to swim and can impressively hold her breath underwater for 16 seconds. Swimming into basement of an enemy camp, she meets a guard playing Hotline Miami on her PlayStation Vita, whom she kills afterwards.

Stabbing her throat is just a beginning of a killing-spree of WLF associates she will encounter in next enemy spawn positions. Having enough ammo and supplies at your disposal will allow you to use throwable items like molotov cocktails.

You can plan on sneaking up on someone without anyone noticing and hide behind grasses but beware of them having looking back. One wrong move is made and you are about to get your head blown or getting chopped by machete.
