The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Free on GOG for Previous Players

GOG is tossing a free copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PC to anyone who already owns a copy on any other platform.

It was only last month when 2015 critically-acclaimed action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released by Polish developer/publisher CD Projekt for all major platforms, which has sold more than 50 million copies till date.

CDPR being always generous to customers is currently offering PC version of Witcher 3 for anyone to claim from GOG storefront who owns a copy of the game on GOG Galaxy 2.0 client software until June 23, 4:00 AM PT/7:00 AM EDT.

As long as you have a purchased copy of The Witcher 3 on known outlets like Epic Games Store, Origin or Steam, there will be no problem to claim it on GOG, which also includes digital comic-book, original soundtracks and much more.

You are still eligible for a giveaway copy even you have played it on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, except for Nintendo Switch console. Players on Switch unfortunately got the short end of this stick due to lack of integration of their platform.

Those who bought The Witcher 3 base game or Game of the Year Edition will be receiving that same edition. If someone already owns a copy on GOG and another on a different platform, they can get a code to share with a friend.

CD Projekt Red always appreciates supporting fans and recent free giveaway of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a nice way to express that. So, add a copy to your online library anyway whether or not you intend to play it on PC anytime soon.
