Death Stranding Getting Photo Mode for PS4

Kojima Productions recently confirms that Photo Mode feature for Death Stranding will arrive on PS4 very soon.

When release date for PC version of open-world action strand game Death Stranding was announced earlier by publisher 505 Games, a much-requested Photo Mode was revealed to be added but was not confirmed for PlayStation 4 yet.

A few weeks later, game director Hideo Kojima came out assuring a Photo Mode for PS4 version as well, which was not surprising though. This feature will become available for players on console in a patch released by end of this month.

Following original announcement for Photo Mode, fans have been bugging Kojima on Twitter asking for its PS4 release. It turns out developer Kojima Productions has been already testing out this latest feature for some time to release soon.

Therefore, owners of Sony console are getting their hands on it way ahead of upcoming PC version release in June 2, 2020. However, platform exclusive Half-Life themed content for DS will not likely to make a jump to PS4 anytime soon.

Kojima shared a few of his experiments with Photo Mode on social media and it appears to work similarly as other staple PS4 title like God of War. He also hinted of a "psychic photo" mode that he used in past for Metal Gear Solid games.

Kojima Productions have yet to reveal an official release window for next Death Stranding update that will introduce this feature and let all enthusiast video game photographers to capture their journey Sam Porter Bridges.
