Latest report claims that upcoming Xbox-exclusive co-op shooter Redfall is aiming for May 2023 release with Early Access.
|Redfall Will Reportedly Release in May 2023|
Following a historic acquisition of Bethesda/ZeniMax Media by Microsoft earlier, upcoming co-op first-person shooter Redfall from developer Arkane Studios Austin will be first Xbox console exclusive game that releases early next year.
Delayed alongside Starfield from its original 2022 release window, Redfall is looking forward to launch on first half of 2023. According to new rumor, Arkane's latest co-op shooter is currently planning to arrive on first week of May 2023.
A recent report by industry insider Jez Corden claims that Redfall is set for an early 2023 launch window. According to sources, Arkane will be releasing their story-driven, open-world FPS title early in May 2023, if development goes well.
Internally, dev team plans to have some sort of Early Access period for players much like Forza Horizon 5. There was a Premium Edition of Forza 5 that allowed several days of Early Access to owners of the game ahead of its release day.
Arkane's unique new Xbox-exclusive shooter is set in fictional town of Redfall, where vampires have isolated locals from outside world. Deus Ex and Dishonored fame Harvey Smith is helming recent project, further stretching their talent.
Redfall and Starfield will be part of Xbox's hottest lineup for console and Xbox Game Pass with both of them aiming at first half of 2023. After a relatively empty first-party calendar last year, these two will make 2023 a great year for all.
