Minecraft Movie Delayed as Director Exits

The Minecraft movie based on titular sandbox survival game is delayed as director Rob McElhenney drops out.

Considering the immense popularity of the sandbox video game Minecraft, developer Mojang has teamed up with Warner Bros. to make a movie and the news was leaked on Twitter in 2014. Then the title received a premiere date for May 2019 when they announced Rob McElhenney (How to Be a Gentleman, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) as director and co-writer in 2015. However, now the previously scheduled date is being pushed back because of McElhenny leaving the project.

Aside from losing director, the film has gotten two new writers, Aaron and Adam Nee to pitch a new script now. It means, McElhenny’s script will no longer be adapted, which he previously worked out with renowned actor and screenwriter, Jason Fuchs (La La Land, Wonder Woman). As they scrapped the former draft and assigned the newly recruited writers to bring a new one, it clearly pushes back development in long run and therefore, the movie is sure to be delayed from intended schedule.

Initially, the involved parties decided to go for a live-action film instead of an animated one and were talking to Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Real Steel) before finally settling on McElhenny. Producer Roy Lee (How to Train Your Dragon, The Lego Movie) is still attached to Minecraft movie, which obviously a good news for Warner Bros., because if this movie somehow achieves success anywhere near the LEGO movies series, there are possibilities for a franchise in work then.

The movie is based on the sandbox survival game Minecraft, where players roam around with their cube shaped characters and engage in world-building. They also gather resources for crafting new objects. Rumors of actor/comedian Steve Carell (Evan Almighty, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) to voice the lead role named Steve were heard but never eventually confirmed though. Since the beginning of the project’s inception, announcements about the film have come out quite rarely.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gameplay Overhaul Update

Shadow of War sees a colossal wave of great changes through an update from Monolith Productions.

One of the most controversial issues in gaming industry last year was in-game loot boxes or better known as micro-transaction. This greed-play has made EA Dice pay a dire price when they tried to slide it in a fully priced game and following a huge backlash, were forced to halt back. Another such example of a good game that suffered by this plague is action role-playing game Middle-Earth: Shadow of War from developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive.

Other than belonging to massive fan-following movie franchises based on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the game had great potential to stand out in crowd of other AAA titles but trying to force the players use real-money for in-game purchases was what caused it to be a shipwreck. As a successor to Shadow of Mordor, expectation were naturally high from Shadow of War until it turned out to be a sort of scam in disguise of a critically praised title.

RELATED: Code Vein Delayed to 2019

However, after deciding to entirely remove micro-transactions from the game, Warner Bros. have finally announced it back in April 2018 and Monolith has released an update today, which officially removes real-money marketplace. They have also added a few gears, skins, significant change in gameplay and a few more stuff to improve in overall. Hopefully, the Shadow of War community will be appreciative of their effort to try and make things right.

Since the market is completely removed and the shadow of micro-transactions is no longer there, it's a free reign for all and no more War Chests to enlist high-level Orc followers to empower your army, thus giving you unfair advantages. Players used to recruit Orcs from Online Vendettas or Ranked Conquests previously, which are all stored in Garrison now. They can still be trained via in-game currency Mirian for the sake of customizing and upgrading them as you see fit.

The end-campaign is renamed as "Epilogue" and it received heavy polish for smooth-running, including newly added narration from Dark Talion and Shelob, the Witch-king. Epilogue victories come along with the masks of the Nazgûl as a reward, which has the power to resurrect the dead and other abilities like cursing enemies or summoning powerful monsters. Also, even after the final credits roll, you can still continue defending your own fortresses or keep upgrading in an endless mode.

New available skins allow you to play as Baranor, Celebrimbor or Dark Eltariel. Greater XP rewards helps you reach to a level cap of 80 in no time. Acclaimed "Nemesis System" has gone through some improvements as you are most likely to encounter more Legendary Orcs and some of them may present you with occasional gifts. In case you are feeling bothered by their overly keen approach towards you or they try to steal your kills, just turn off the savior feature from the menu.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is released on October 2017 from Monolith Productions for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was about time that the creators of this fine game eventually saw through their mistake and even though late, took actions to correct it. It was very fortunate for them that they did not missed sales target by a vast number or lose market share over this like Dice did over their misstep with Star Wars Battlefront II last year. Although loot boxes are not going away soon, we are happy that at least some are moving to right directions.

Bethesda Sues Westworld Game as Fallout Shelter Ripoff

Bethesda files lawsuit against Warner Bros. over the release of Westworld mobile game, for ripping-off Fallout Shelter.

Last week, a mobile game is released which is based on the popular science fiction western TV series on HBO, Westworld. As soon as it hit Smartphone platform, it is hit by a lawsuit from popular video game publisher Bethesda Softworks for shamelessly ripping off their free-to-play simulation game Fallout Shelter from 2015. They have sued Warner Bros. and developer Behaviour Interactive over this matter, because the latter were involved when both of these titles were being developed.

As a part of post-apocalyptic role-playing Fallout game series, Fallout Shelter puts player into the role of a Vault Overseer, who supervises activities and building for the accommodation of remaining survivors in an irradiated wasteland. Despite being a free-to-play entry in the series, it has micro-transactions and random loot box features that made it a commercial hit, leading its way to other major platforms like Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One afterwards.

RELATED: The Elder Scrolls: Legends to Replace Developers

Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive previously teamed up with Bethesda during the development of Fallout Shelter and they were no stranger to working with licensed video game properties either. When Warner Bros. Entertainment hired them for the new Westworld mobile game, it came out as a copy of Bethesda's game in terms of designs and gameplay. So, wasting no further time, one publisher took it to the court against the company in charge of distribution for Westworld.

RELATED: Fallout 76 E3 Trailer

Accusing the developer for multiple misconducts as breach of contract, copyright violation and stealing trade secrets to others, Bethesda filed a legal suit on June 21. Warner Bros. was also alleged to have influenced the studio for taking this unethical step that lead the publisher some considerable amount of damage. Instead of being coy about it, Bethesda simply calls out the Westworld mobile game a "rip-off” because of the uncanny similarities of art, animations and gameplay.

They points out that there were some bugs in their early game, which they removed later but those same glitches are is still present on the game in question and that is a clear example of the codes being reused. While they are all worked up with newest entry from Fallout series, Fallout 76, Bethesda was just introduced their three-year-old Fallout Shelter on bigger platforms to explore possible financial potential and so they took it pretty seriously after learning of this plagiarism.

Mortal Kombat 11 May Be Announced at E3 2018

Before working on fighting game series like Injustice: Gods Among Us and WWE Immortals, NetherRealm Studios came to be known as the house of the legendary Mortal Kombat series. From the '90s era this franchise has been known to all for dreadful violence and a tense gameplay. It has changed and then evolved over time but still remains popular after two decades. Recently, a Tweet from game's director Ed Boon may have teased for Mortal Kombat 11, which probably is on its way.

Series creator Ed Boon has found immense success though the first Injustice game and its sequel, Injustice 2 but yet wants people to remember how important it is. Boon occasionally jokes around with his fans over social media every now and then, which also supplies a lot of potential clues for upcoming games and additional contents. Most of the tie his Tweets are not just trolling and besides, since there is a hint of a tease, he probably isn't kidding and might really drop something.

Lately, when a random Twitter user was pointing out that it would really be cool if their studio introduces a fourth DLC pack of fighting characters for their critically acclaimed game Injustice 2. Though he didn't shut him down on the possibility of that ever happening but decided to counter asking him "You know what ELSE would be kool....?" If you know that his history of fondness for using the letter "K" instead of "C", then you will notice that it surely is a tease for Mortal Kombat!

Also, it all makes sense because from 2013, NetherRealm Studios has been releasing Mortal Kombat titles and Injustice series one after another. Since DC Universe fighting game Injustice 2 came out almost a year ago, an E3 2018 reveal won't really be that surprising at all. Maybe will all these recent leaks from Walmart for upcoming games are what inspired Boon to be a bit playful about their upcoming project. The good news is, we will not have to wait much longer to find out the truth as E3 is almost upon us.

The last game from the franchise was 2015's Mortal Kombat X, which was released on Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. So, it is safe to assume that the alleged new installment will also be compatible with these platforms as well. For years, the studio has been developing all these incredible fighting games, which keeps us well entertained and always wanting some more. Let's just wait and see what Ed Boon and his teams are working so hard on these days!

F.E.A.R. Live-Action Movie in Development

2005's first-person horror shooter F.E.A.R. from developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. was both a critical and commercial success. The game succeeds in blending a tense mood of horror with the vibe of an action shooter on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It would later spawn two sequels, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin in 2009 and F.E.A.R. 3 in 2011. Recently, Machinima Studios has come up with an announcement of a live-action film adaptation of F.E.A.R.

The series follows with encounter of the titular organization in a supernatural affair and the protagonist is known as Point Man. Aside from fighting cloned super soldiers, he has to deal with induced hallucination while a larger mystery is about to unveil. Turns out, he actually shares a connection to a supernaturally powered little girl named Alma, whose rage and destruction has to stop at any cost. After a while with the series, now they have decided to make a movie on it.

Screenwriter Greg Russo has been roped in by Machinima to write a script for live-action F.E.A.R. movie, where Warner Bros. will be involved as well. Russo already has his hands quite full with upcoming adaptation of new Mortal Kombat movie and a rebooted Resident Evil series for Screen Gems. That means, he is a suitable candidate for the job as he is getting more and more familiar with video game adaptations. Russell Arons of Machinima also believes bringing Greg on board was a right choice for them.

After putting the franchise on ice for so long, the attempt of bringing the series back may seem a bit out of the blue at first but since Machinima is a division of Warner Bros., it is quite natural that they would be interested in doing so. Another reason could be that after remaining so long in hiatus, they are making a movie on the plot before rebooting or developing new installments of the horror shooter. This way, they will spike interest in people who never played F.E.A.R. before and bring former fans back too.

Dwayne Johnson Throws Shade at Doom Movie

When praising Rampage, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson throws shade at Doom movie and their Twitter respond back!

Hollywood superstar and former WWE megastar Dwayne Johnson (Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) is having quite a good time as his recent success at box-office with the release of sci-fi monster flick Rampage from Warner Bros. Pictures, which is based on a 1986 arcade game of the same name from developer Midway Games. The movie is solely based on an original story that only borrows the monstrous creatures and few other aspects from the game it is based on.

Though video game movie adaptations mostly end up being a huge commercial failure as well as a critical disaster beyond redemption, Rampage managed to change that by scoring 53% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes aside from a very steady opening weekend. The rating was set on a basis of 153 reviews on this review aggregation site following the day of its release. So, that means, the film is on a good standpoint in either way and that's actually new to this unique genre.

Seeing his work finally breaking the longest running curse of video game movie being failures, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joyfully posted a Tweet.

While he was being all thankful at Rampage’s recent success, he couldn't help but playfully point out that he also starred in 2005's sci-fi action horror movie adaptation of Doom and how it was a complete disaster all along. This is actually true that director Andrzej Bartkowiak’s Doom movie was so bad and very poorly-written that even the combined star-power of Johnson himself along with actor Karl Urban and Rosamund Pike couldn't save it from sky fall it experienced.

However, Rock calling Doom a “stinker” didn't go well with whoever runs the official Twitter account for Doom who was not so pleased. They got back at Johnson by responding in a minimal but classy way by Tweeting out ‘Dwayne.’ Guess, the film being so bad was already quite painful for them and then he had to drag it back decade after once again was too much for them to bear. Doom is a popular first person shooter game of 1993 and is reworked for a quasi-reboot which came out in 2016 from id Software and Bethesda Softworks.

Rampage is Highest-Rated Video Game Movie Ever

Based on a 1986 arcade game of the same name from developer Midway Games, sci-fi monster movie Rampage from Warner Bros. Pictures is released already. It features Hollywood superstar and former WWE megastar Dwayne Johnson (Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) in the role Davis Oyoke, who is a primatologist and friend with a silverback gorilla named George. When his friend becomes victim of a mutagen, it mutates him and other animals into monstrous creatures, which starts a "Rampage" in Chicago.

Although video game movie adaptations have a bad reputation of being botched out all the times, Johnson's monster flick Rampage seems to have just changed that. A day after it came out, the film currently holds 53% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 153 reviews on their site. They have a list of 46 video game movies that they ranked in order of worst to best and joining ranks with its predecessors, Rampage currently is highest rated video game movie of all time.

Smelling something good cooking over at Rotten Tomatoes today, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took Twitter to express his excitement on the news.

Review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes actually scores on the average of positive reviews from those who watched the film. Just because Rampage has a great opening on RT means, everyone else has picked it as their favorites. Another review site, Metacritic has given it 45, based on 43 of their critics and that is not considerably good! They have held Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2017) in high regard in ranks of video game movie adaptations.

Video game enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for years to see the curse of low rating for a video game movie to finally end at some point. Many fans had high hopes for Michael Fassbender’s Assassin’s Creed (2016) movie but even that couldn't live up to expectation and ended up garnering only 18% score. We are still trying to forget the god-awful adaptations of Bloodrayne (2006), Street Fighter (1994) and Super Mario Bros. (1993) that still haunts our memory till this date.

What filmmakers and studios do that go wrong in cases like this is that they either try to make a cinematic rip-off or their own version of garbage, which makes the critics cringe. It appears that Johnson's monster flick Rampage finally has broke the curse of video game movie with his celluloid portrayal of bromance between man and beast. Alicia Vikander starrer Tomb Raider movie is the only one that came any closer of uplifting this curse so far with a 51% positive rating.

Rampage Movie Second Trailer

Currently, Warner Bros. Pictures is busy with their upcoming lineup for DC Films but that doesn't mean they wouldn't love to try and make some cash with a video game movie. To make sure that doesn't go absolutely wrong, they have signed Hollywood megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) for their upcoming monster flick Rampage. The second trailer for the film has just been released and we are here for that.

Check out the second official trailer for Dwayne Johnson's upcoming sci-fi monster movie Rampage from Warner Bros. Pictures below.

Rampage is a potential box-office hit movie based on the 1986 arcade game of the same name from developer Midway Games. Johnson is starring as the character Davis Oyoke, who is a primatologist and friend with an albino gorilla named George, whom he rescued at the age of 2. As his gorilla friend grows into a 1,000-pound massive sized creature after being exposed to an experimental genetic material, George goes out to wreck havoc and Oyoke steps in to help his lifelong friend in need.

Also, George is not the only one rampaging through the city of Chicago. We are introduced to the two other mutated animals; Ralph the wolf and Lizzie the crocodile. The second theatrical trailer offers more action involving all these monsters running amok the populace and how military has been unsuccessful to even slow them down. At one point, we see Ralph the wolf flying throughout a building and Lizzie the crocodile crushing a plane between her jaws. Davis Oyoke probably manages to team-up with his friend George to fight these other monsters.

Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Just as the prequel Injustice: Gods Among Us took the gaming world by storm, developer NetherRealm Studios presents fighting game Injustice 2 repeated the history and created a new one. Back in November 2017, NetherRealm made announcement of introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the world of DC's most popular duel of heroes on February 2018 and that time is finally here.

From across the Multiverse, our beloved heroes in half-shell have finally made their way to Injustice 2 and they have just debuted in a gameplay trailer today. Watch them boys at work with their bo-staff, nunchakus, sai and sword.

Seeing Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo going up against the biggest and baddest there is from the DC Universe is truly a spectacle of a lifetime. However, bringing the fan favorite mutant heroes from another franchise makes a lot of eyebrows raise but this is not the first time Warner Bros. have done that. Previously, paranormal investigator and a demon from Hell, Hellboy of Dark Horse Comics along with Mortal Kombat's Raiden joined the Injustice 2 roster.

Well, the Ninja Turtle brothers fight the warlord from Dimension X and their arch-nemesis Krang on a regular basis and he is from out of the world. So, obviously there is quite a lot of inter-dimensional travelling they do very often. One such trip has gone sore and they have ended up in a world not any less-crazier than theirs. Besides, DC Universe has their fair share of twisted plots regarding the Multiverse and that makes the explanation pretty legit.

We all know that former WWE superstar and one of Hollywood's most bankable actor of our time, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) isn't stopping to present us new blockbuster flicks anytime soon. In fact, he's got one more incoming film project titled Rampage from Warner Bros. Pictures, which is based on the 1986 arcade game of the same name from Midway Games.

Back in November 2017, the official trailer for Rampage was released and now comes another one titled "BIG MEETS BIGGER", that offers more footage from the film.

Like the first official trailer, "BIG MEETS BIGGER" clip did not just stayed on the course of the film's plot. Instead, it gives us brand-new and exclusive peak into the mutated animals with better visuals. This one-minute long clip still gives us glimpse of how the mysterious green steam came to turn Johnson's character Davis Oyoke’s white gorilla friend George into a massive sized, 1,000-pound worth of machine of destruction.

Problem is, the super-sized silverback gorilla George isn't the only animal that has gone through an unusual “genetic editing” which turned him into a monster. Turns out, there are other players at play counting Ralph the wolf and Lizzie the crocodile in. Together, all of them tear apart and wreck havoc throughout Chicago, while Oyoke tries to find a way to save the city as well as his old buddy! Plus, he has his funny line when he was brawling with a few soldiers in the middle of this mess.

Directed by Brad Peyton (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, San Andreas), sci-fi monster film Rampage is going to be released on April 20, 2018 and promising to be another box-office hit. Aside from Johnson, the film also starrs Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Skyfall), Malin Ă…kerman, Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike, True Blood), Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, The Walking Dead) as co-stars in various other roles.

Justice League perhaps was one of the most anticipated superhero-film of the year 2017 and it is out on theaters already. Warner Bros. has decided to celebrate the release of the movie by dropping Justice League skins to latest installment of Injustice; one of the most popular fighting game series DC has ever made. Yes, Injustice 2 now features costumes and gears from the new Justice League movie.

Players of Injustice 2 can now access the costumes of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, based on the looks of their movie counterparts. Check out the following clip to get a good glimpse of how cool it would make your heroes look like in the game.

These amazing gears and skins will not just be handed to you when you run the game. You have to earn them through some playing and then you can have the costumes of your favorite Justice League characters from DC Cinematic Universe. Injustice 2’s Multiverse mode will lead you to six special events related to a member of Justice League. You have to fight your way out of each event to unlock each character's costume from the Justice League movie.

With the release of DCEU's Wonder Woman movie, there was a challenge akin to these in the Multiverse panel and players were allowed to customize the titular character from Injustice 2 to look like version that Gal Gadot has portrayed of the character in the film. The same Wonder Woman skin is back again but now there are skins for the five other teammates of her from the League. Then again, Injustice 2 doesn't deliver an exact iteration of the gears for every hero.

Batman and The Flash gear sets gives the characters similar look to Ben Affleck and Ezra Miller’s characters. Aquaman and Cyborg may appear slightly different even though their skins have taken inspiration from the film. However, Superman isn't getting his own set among the Justice League members. Possibly, this is because the Man of Steel was mostly out of all the promotional clips and his involvement in the movie's plot was kept a secret.

Already adding non-DC Universe characters like Mike Mignola (Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson)’s Hellboy and Mortal Kombat's Raiden to the roster of fighters, adding of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be quite a blast for the fans. Now, check out the reveal trailer for Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2 first as we are about to discuss what's coming for us.

We agree that adding Hellboy to the Injustice 2 playable character list was a bit oddly surprising but fans have loved the idea so far. However, introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; heroes in a half shell were something no one really saw coming and you can tell how surprised the entire fanboy nation was by the #TMNT trend on Twitter yesterday! Everyone just literally lost their mind over the reveal of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo.

This one surprise was actually kept under wraps for a long time and not only the reveal of it was surprising to the fans but the folks behind the games were astonished to see that they really made it. Even game's director Ed Boon expressed his awe in a Tweet.

The game Injustice 2 is a surprise itself by being an even improved version of its prequel Injustice: Gods Among Us. Plus, the huge array of popular character added to the fighter roster is a great achievement too. Rumor has it that, the game might even add some characters from the Watchmen franchise of DC Comics as well.

There is also some criticizing about NetherRealm Studios' constant adding of unnecessary or gimmick characters though but looks like the majority of the audience took their introduction with absolute optimism. How these characters will matter to the game is yet to be disclosed. We still don't know if each of the Ninja Turtles heroes will be solo heroes or are they part of a single tag-team.

Atom and Enchantress will have their own place with the former's shrinking abilities and the latter's malevolent magic. Rather than rocking her Suicide Squad movie look, Enchantress is designed mostly to look alike her comic-book counterpart. Atom's character will be available on December 12th's early access. Then Enchantress and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join the fight in January and February respectively.

Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Hellboy

The immensely popular sequel to NetherRealm’s fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us from 2013 has already taken over the minds of the fans worldwide. The storyline and the gameplay of the series are what keeping them on their toes. Plus, there is an ever-expanding roster of fan-favorite characters from DC Universe. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment decided to introduce one more star to the lot.

Injustice 2 – Introducing Hellboy!

If you are not reading this wrong, then Hellboy is making his way to fight the players of Injustice 2 and a gameplay trailer showing his insanely raging moves against the opponents is right below for you to check out before we dive deep into the scoop.

Though comic-book creator Mike Mignola (Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson)’s Hellboy character is a property of Dark Horse Comics, he found his place among the heavy hitters of DC Comics-based fighting game Injustice 2. Since Raiden's character from Mortal Kombat has already joined the race, Hellboy's addition to the game will surely bring a new edge on the already action-packed mode of the arena.

Fans of the character know that our Big Red hero is a paranormal detective for B.P.R.D. but also a demon by birth. Injustice 2 will add in the impact of both of his persona into his fighting style. For instance, if his opponents are in a mid-range, he will use his trusty pistol the Good Samaritan on them. If they gets close to him, then may God have mercy on them as the Right Hand of Doom is going to introduce them to a whole world of pain.

In the above shown gameplay trailer, Hellboy is pitted against Red Lantern Corps member Atrocitus, who takes a brutal punishment from the demon. Whereas Atrocitus keeps urging on giving in on his anger, Anung Un Rama effortlessly gives him a beat-down and then took to the depths of Hell itself to inflict some more brutality on him to justify his true form.

Hellboy joins the fighting ground on November 14 in the Fighter Pack 2 DLC of the game as a guest character. Available only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Injustice 2 is also confirmed for a PC version to release soon.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gameplay Trailer

The last game of the Middle-Earth series was Shadow of Mordor from developer Monolith Productions and that was three years ago. Now the studio brings us an action role-playing sequel that follows the previous game of the series. Back in February, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War was announced and it is quite an improvement on its predecessor. Whereas Shadow of Mordor was more of a hack and slash, Shadow of War focuses on the role-playing aspects.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gameplay Trailer

A brand-new trailer of Shadow of War from Warner Bros. is released recently that offers us brief glimpse at the open world gameplay system of the game.

The clip above from Shadow of War shows protagonist Talion, merged with the spirit of elf lord Celebrimbor, exploring places like Cirith Ungol and Seregost as part of the gameplay. Also there are locations that we have never seen before in any of the Lord of the Rings franchise. The game improvises on the "Nemesis System" introduced prior with the large open-world setting. What we see in the trailer is a mere example of what we can expect because obviously there are much more.

Though the "Nemesis System" was brought on the table in Shadow of Mordor, it has been well adapted to the environment of Shadow of War. The surroundings of Mordor and Orc followers will behave according to the actions of the player. When you will be preparing your forces to attack Sauron as Talion and his ghostly-counterpart Celebrimbor, how you place the Uruks and Ologs in places of power will totally change the look of Middle-Earth.

Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive presents, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will be released on 22 August for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide. So, be prepared for an epic experience with the iconic heroes and villains from Lord of the Rings lore when Monolith drops Shadow of War.
