Mark of the Ninja Remastered for Nintendo Switch

Many have probably forgotten Klei Entertainment's side-scrolling action stealth game Mark of the Ninja, which came out in 2012. This indie game was critically acclaimed and had intense popularity on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade. The title is now heading for Nintendo Switch as Mark of the Ninja Remastered after six years of its initial release. Recently, Nintendo had an indie-focused Switch presentation, where the game was revealed.

Expected to arrive this fall, Mark of the Ninja Remastered was the highlight among the other few brand-new titles selected to port or remake for Switch in 2018. Since the Nintendo Switch version is a re-master, we can expect some high-end details of the graphics for the hybrid console. The original title was published by Microsoft Studios, which was the main reason for the game remaining an exclusive for PC and Xbox 360.

With the Switch port on the way, this will be the first time when this awesome action stealth game from Klei Entertainment will be available on a different console. Mark of the Ninja is not your typical Ninja warrior taking down horde of bad-guys with his sick moves or shooting stars. Instead, the game has a good back-story for players who care for some aside from some hide and seek sport with your enemies. Plus, stealth has a major part in your overall gameplay.

We certainly have high hopes that this great game will silently sneak into the Nintendo eShop soon and make everyone addictive for the experience regardless of veterans and newbie. The way Nintendo's next-gen portable console is making a progress in market; it was a great strategic move for Klei Entertainment to bring one of their greatest games on board. This also raises our hopes for seeing Shank and Shank 2 from the same studio ported for the platform.
